    @MN5 I was more distracted by Milne's torso - looks like he's wearing a fat-chick prom-dress

    So F Allen’s second game in the BBL and once again he gets out second ball after hitting a boundary off the first.

    F Allen’s BBL career thus far: 6, W, 4, W

    Oh right, yup disappointing. F all on atm, it would have been good to watch him for at least 4 or 5 overs.

    6 and out, & 4 and out. So cliched, and yet also so Finn Allen.

    Finn Allen about to open up again for the Scorchers. Let’s hope he lasts more than 2 balls tonight.

    Far out. What a disaster. He might be dropped next game.

    Definitely not the way you want to make an impression in the Big Bash.

    He will learn the difference between taking a NZ contract and being a freelancer. With the NZ Cricket contract, the national the national org will work to make him a better player when he misses out. As a freelancer, he is a poor performing financial liability for the scorchers. Perth would have seen him as someone who puts bums on seats. 10 runs off seven balls over three innings does nothing for him. Then there is his the damage to his potential sellability, runs don't just pay the bills, they secure the next contract too. Selectors in other leagues will be watching this shit run of form closely. He may quickly start to regret his decision to turn down the national contract.

    You’re on the money there. He will need to go big in his next innings, that’s if he gets another chance.
