    ##spoiler
I was hoping that the impending war would start in Ep 10. Viserys did tell us that the Targaryens do not control the dragons.
    ##endspoiler

Totally, you could see that coming.

    ##spoiler
It was like the late series GoT how lucy was eaten over the sea. His, and his dragon's bodies were dispersed. Yeat Daemon is telling the Queen about it that day. Hate that shit. In reality, Aemond should just go home, stay schtum, and no one would be the wiser for weeks, or even ever
    ##endspoiler

    ##spoiler
One thing this show is been super unclear with, in a Witcher seasone 1 way (ie not good), is how much time is passing. How do you know it was just a day?
    ##endspoiler

Doesn't matter how long, it's ridiculous that anything was found, in what is now hostile territory, and communicated with Daemon. Queen would've been fretting if it wasn't very soon. It's like killing someone in a forest in a fantasy computer game, and th e guards arresting you when you hit the next settlement, despite no non magical way of knowing. Immersion breaking

The only import point was that they found out. Maybe the magical dragons can magically find dead dragons, super unimportant detail IMO.

If you look that hard at anything then logic will start to fall apart. Suspension of disbelief and all that.

In the book bits of Arrax washes up on the shores a few days later.

Also that the clash could be seen from the walls of Storms End. So there were witnesses.

Yeah in the books, on the TV it would be impossible to see through that storm. For me, that was a teleporting travel in late GoT scenario. It annoys me, maybe I'm the only one but I hate that sort of laziness.

I think the point of the original comment was that you didn’t have to look far at all to wonder “how did that work?”
Yes it is a fantasy show, but that doesn’t mean logic has to fly out the window as well.
If you want a good show that is.

@Crucial yep understood, just don’t think that’s important. It’s just nitpicking instead of enjoying the story.

They certainly are shitting on poor old Daemon, all the 'nice' and 'clever' things he has done have been got rid of, and they've added charming things like choking his wife. I don't think that anyone will be surprised to see them attributed to Rhaenyra, cos women are the real brains/power etc. Alicent has transformed from a grasping mother, and Rhaenys the voice of reason. They also are happy to miss out that it was one of the Baratheon girls that goaded Aemond into action

Unlike the shit they are crapping on RoP, which has a canon, HotD is open to do what you like with it as it is an in-world book, with an unreliable narrator.

The actual coup de grace dragon chomp happened in a brief bit of clear sky outside the storm. All it needed was one orientating shot that showed people watching from Storm's End battlements and gasping. I also hate the laziness; this was so easily fixed.

It's basically what happened in the book
