    So the commentators have just said Jacob’s ran a PB in the heat, then broke that in the semi and then again in the Final.

    That is the epitome of lifting for the biggest show on earth.

    Her hop was so big she had to truncate the step to avoid landing in the pit.

    She needs to take off from the 13m board like the men do. Incredible.

    It's like when Uwe Hohn threw the old javelin 104.80m, meaning it was too dangerous for the event to take place on the infield of the track, so they changed the design to limit the distance.
