<p>The Chiefs are spreading their wings not only beyond their borders but to overseas as well.</p> -
<p>It's not poaching if you're asking New Zealand citizens to play in or for their country.</p>

<p>Of course if every New Zealander went home, there'd be a lot of empty rugby clubs over here...</p> -

<p>Yes, and the Australian government has a policy of not allowing New Zealanders to naturalise. </p>

<p>Common sense from the Chiefs. I'd be surprised if the NZR was not focusing on this market as a possible rich source of talent for the future. </p> -
NZ cricket should do something similar. Not sure how much NZ eligible talent is out there though.
