TJ Vaega - poached out of the Auckland colts! I'll be very interested to watch him this year.
I think poaching is a bit strong, I think the Magpies recruiting this year has been close our eyes and throw a dart at a bunch of names. Clearly, the fact we're bringing in an Aussie lock has meant we threw a dart at the Crusaders recruiting list by accident as well.

Maybe the two brothers came as a package. Their dad played for the Magpies, too, in 1991. Next year, they'll want Matt, too, and then we have our own trio of brothers.

@Stockcar86 They could also achieve that by signing Jacob Lowe (if he's still playing for Clive). I think he's played age grade for the Bay (not sure)?
