Seu and Fifita : who is the best of the two ?
-
Seu and Fifita are very similar players : equally at home at Nr.6 and at lock, tall, thin, athletic, capable of incredible accelerations. Their confrontation (though one will probably play lock and the other blindside flanker)on Saturday night is mouthwatering.
For me, Fifita looks to be a better tackler than Seu. On the contrary, Seu's workrate seems superior.
In your opinion, who is the best of the two, the one who may get a call from the AB selectors in a year or two ?

Better of the two...

...and it's Fifita.
-

Just because they are too similar and so would not complement each other.
-

They are probably more suited as locks at international level but both will need to bulk up a bit.

Shit I reckon, Bones do those guys even lift ?
-
If Fifita continues to develop and doesn't lose his head, he could be an absolute superstar. He's raw as hell at the moment but the potential is enormous. I just feel it's a shame he's been at lock for most of the season because imho his best position is 6.

Yeah I can't see Shields keeping him out.
-

I guess with Vito leaving it will mean Shields or Blade will probably be sharing 8 so Fifita might get a a run at 6. My personal feeling is that he is a 6 who can cover lock rather than the other way around.

Geez the depth at lose forward in NZ is crazy at the moment. Even with Richie, Messam and Vito leaving.
-

more like the depth at loose froward from auckland..

u know theres a few loosies around if auckland couldn't keep these guys in auckland..

yet the best first five we can muster is bloody hickey

edit: seu is actually still with auckland, just not the blues.. so well done
-

Ok then I'd pick Seu because he's a Kiwi.
-

Can we choose based on one length of field try?

I'm assuming he scored those tries after he got back on the field after the 10 min in the bin (lucky not to be red) from the first run off the back of the scrum - a fend is an open palm not an elbow to the head of the tackling player or a punch.
-

I think he is held back a little by playing in the same team as Ardie. He has that same broken play ability that Ardie has but they probably rein him in to the close stuff to allow Ardie freedom.
-

Well you would have to go and get all sensible about it...
