yeah is a tough one...taught TR Jnr how to defend himself (and throw some punches) but how do you tell them it's ok to smack someone, without saying its ok to smack someone, because they will invariably have a different interpretation of whats ok!
My personal approach was they get 1 free hit, happened twice in my high school years, and in each, face had a bit of a bruise, but when against 3 or 4
dudeskindergarten kids, I thought 1 hit was a decent result....Fixed

yeah apparently it is ok for a Maori kid to call my son 'white boy' and a 'white cnut' every day at school, but as soon as my son uses the word brown in a response, he is racist!
I really struggle to believe that any school has a policy where it is sweet as for any kid to call another kid a fluffybunny, regardless of race.
was the consistent 'white' abuse raised with the school before the 'brown' and ignored, or did both come to light at the same time?
obviously i'm just guessing here, but more often than not what you see is one has been getting away with it and the other not complaining, then when they fight back it gets noticed and looks like 'he said she said' rather than a pattern of bullying and then an eventual reaction - which is unfair and shit, but the school can only act on the evidence they have. on the other hand, if they did know it was going on already, then i'd be having some pretty strong words with the school. -
@reprobate it was more that the 'brown' comment was supposedly at the heart of the issue, other comments barely gained a mention, was all just part of him being 'mean' to TR Jnr.
As I said elsewhere, I felt blame has been unfairly apportioned to my son, IMO to appease parents who are on BOT and the claims of a racist comment made by my son, but am letting it slide if issue is resolved, as I hope it seems to be.
My complaint has been documented, so if anything continues then we will be taking it further and query why specific points were not addressed.

I presume this is an investment / bolthole, but he could he be the first US leftie to actually put his money where his mouth is and leave the US after the Trump win?

Oh look, must be another light news day. Max Key gets another story.
Maybe his desire to be famous is the reason he looks like he is auditioning fro 'Dumb and Dumber 3'

I read yesterday that at Pak N Save in Thames, there is a massive uproar, as the bakery has decided to stop making the 1 dollar wholegrain loaves as they were losing money on it.
This was on the herald.
On the front page.
Somebody call John Campbell.
And then get the Mother of the Nation to chime in.
