Can someone point ot 15 celebrities envisioning violence against Obama or the Democrats?
Cheers.No. But I've never bothered to listen to what 15 celebrities said about anything except sports. I'm surprised anyone on here does.

@JC Unfortunately, a lot of people do listen to them. Sad.
Stop then. Nobody is making you wind yourself up with this drivel.
Honestly, the degeneration of this thread gives me the shits. I'm very interested in policy and especially economics in the US, but the nonsense on here about personalities, cucks, and the alt-right, the endless pathetic memes and the posting of links to fringe sites populated by feeble minds has made it pretty much unreadable.

Nice fake news compilation on Donald J. Trump. and others.
Some of those are pretty funny actually. I am sure ALOT could go the other way as well though.

Anyway, to raise the tone of this thread a little: I went along to a forum with former US Director of National Intelligence, James R. Clapper a couple of nights ago. Just briefly on the Russian hacking issue; Obama instructed them to make a public version of the intelligence report, made available 6 Jan. Clapper believes that the interference from Russia had an impact but is unable to determine what that was empirically. There is no evidence of a voter tally impact and the reason Trump was initially disparaging was, he perceived it as a slight on the legitimacy of his election.
Trump has subsequently made considerable efforts to repair that relationship.
Why Russia made more efforts to undermine the Democrat cause was as Trump is a businessman, they (Russia) believe he is more likely to negotiate. And Putin despises the Clintons.

In a rare display of bi-partisanship - Republicans and Democrats in the Senate are pretty united in limiting Trump's ability to lift sanctions On Russia.

I obviously don't understand the term 'Fake News' well enough. How can tweets, opinion pieces and crap from Buzzfeed be considered news in the first place?
I gave up scrolling through them because the only ones from established sources that people might expect to trust were either clearly stated as opinions or were comparing apples and oranges with similar headlines to try and be clever.
Pretty feeble stuff. -

Oliver Stone made a doco about Chavez to try and show the US how awesome he and socialism in Venezuela is. I'm sure history will be just as kind to this doco about Putin .

Live updates on the Georgia / South Carolina special election results are coming in.
As pollsters predicted, its awfully close in Georgia but I would assume that the Republicans will win both
50 million spent on the Georgia campaign. 50 million!!!!
Dems spent 7 times as much as the republicans. And looking like they lost with not much change to the 2016 result.

The divide within the Democrat party seems to be very serious. Ossoff was a Pelosi-corporate Democrat. But the progressives of the party are too far left for mainstream US society.
Clinton lost this district to Trump by just 1.5%.
Handel won by 3.8%I follow a guy who was heavily involved in this election for the Republicans.
He said a few things affected it in the last few days -- The Steve Scalise shooting
- And the Ossoff- Kathy Griffin ad
