@jegga isn't it just showing equal treatment for poor performance? Too bad there wasn't swifter action with Curran, but maybe Ardern sent the dismissal email to her work address instead of her gmail address
Duncan Garner was on the telly today and I thought he was cheekily insinuating Curran might have got lighter treatment than Meka because she and Starbrite used to be flatmates?? Chris Faafoi ducked right under it
-
@canefan that would really light things up!! You'd think you need to be harder on friends and allies to avoid any fodder for preferential treatment. While Curran was a runaway train of ineptness I guess it's easier to make a call where there is a physical altercation... although I'd argue that Curran's fuck ups were actually way worse overall!!

She’s said she’s been blown away by her support , which a thinly veiled way of telling Ardern if she sacks her completely she’ll stand independently in a by election and has s good chance of winning.
Nice that her supporters can overlook she’s a bully and physically abusive to her staff , not the behaviour you’d expect of a staunch unionist . -

You dont think that is the behavior you would expect from a staunch unionist? You think they care about workers??
How quaint. -

How quaint. It’s exactly the sort of behaviour I expect , I’ve posted my experiences with dodgy unions her and in Australia and I have yet to meet anyone involved in a union that wasn’t a scumbag.
When the Dotcom bubble burst our union made our bosses pay for our union rep to give us a two hour lecture about the evils of capitalism , the share market and big business which got really awkward towards the end when someone asked this question.
“ will this crash affect our Cbus ( union superannuation)?
“ how do you mean ?”
“Well where do you invest our money?”
“ um....Er.....some of it ....is ...in shares.......” -

“ um....Er.....some of it ....is ...in shares.......”My first experience of a union was when I worked in a cheese factory as a youngster. There was some re-negotiation going on and we were all invited to a meeting. The union staff rep got everyone's attention, pulled out and lit up a ciggy and starting talking about how we should just corner some management big wigs and 'smash them'.
Still took me 15 years to realise the thuggery of the left.

My first experience of a union was when it was compulsory and I was working at a timber mill after school and in the holidays . They used to take my dues out of my wages and some fat fuck would visit once or twice a year for s coffee with my foreman.
About 5 years afterwards they shut the site down because it had become toxic and had to dig out all the soil down to about five feet and take it away . That was due to all the tanalith that leaked onto the ground, we also handled timber covered in the stuff and breathed in the dust from it . You’d think the fat fuck would have been interested in making sure his union brothers weren’t taking arsenic and heavy metals into their systems but you’d be wrong. -
