I find this amusing as DJT is seemingly renowned for biting back over any perceived personal slur (like the small / big hands thing, and he's got words, the best words).
So regardless of fake news or otherwise this is an awesome troll by Stormy:

Jeez the Kavanaugh controversy shows how fucking nasty the left is in the USA. Could they get any lower?
The allegations are ludicrous. The shit show currently happening is even worse.

At first glance this is one for "Tennis" or perhaps the PC thread, but realistically fits here.

If so-called progressive forces really want to wrest power back from the populist tidal wave that is ploughing through the foundations of liberal democratic institutions the world over they need to stop worrying about the feelings of millionaire tennis players and White House martyrs and start worrying about the feelings of ordinary working people.

By Joe Hildebrand. An excellent journalist and writer.
The quoted para hits the nail on the head. Following the election there was about half of second of introspection where this kind of point was acknowledged. But that of course soon disintegrated into the freak show we see now.

That article encapsulates the current situation very well.

We really are in the midst of a serious moral panic.
This Kavanaugh thing is just sick.
I understanding not liking someones ideology..but resorting to defeating it by simply flat out lying? Surely at some point you've got to take some stock as to what kind of person you are becoming?

The whatever it takes attitude is absolutely appalling and far more dangerous than "Trump Hitler". Look at what Harry Reid did in that clip. What a disgusting human being. But we continue to get this bullshit narrative that the Dems are the good guys and the Reps are evil who will stoop to any level to win. "When they go low, we go high." Fucking nonsense.

Heh-heh-heh.
NEW: Rosenstein grew emotional at the White House, rehirerated he wants to resign and is concerned Trump will attack him if they don’t have an amicable split. One reason he wants to quit: he doesn’t want to testify on the Hill about the allegations.

Not quite as exciting as Jacinda showing off her baby, but Trump’s speech at the U.N. today telling globalists to shove-it was amazing.

What part did you find amazing? His economic illiteracy?

Out of curiosity, do you also give the Obama administration any credit for the origins of that unemployment trend (post-GFC)?
While acknowledging that Trump has continued it.

The USA has had the highest GDP of all countries for my entire lifetime, and some before that I would think.Trump didn't do that, large numbers of smart people did for a long time.
I do agree that he is doing alright though and the doomsayers were wrong. Still find it hard to warm to him in any way.

Can you name other presidents that have had over 4% GDP growth?
-
@donsteppa Noy much no. Pretty much anyone could have got the US back to normal baseline figures. But to break below .. well below the 'normal baseline' is a whole different challenge.

Right, so highest GDP "growth". Not what you said but O.K.
-
Historical US GDP growth. I'll try and find a better graph, but outside of WWII, Clinton, Reagan, and some of the 60's and 70's Presidents look to have had their moments of 4%. Bush Snr, Jnr, and Obama as the GDP outliers)
GFC nowhere near as bad as the Great Depression thankfully...
