Meghan and Prince Harry check out $41.6m Vancouver mansion in hunt for family home
The Duchess of Sussex is on the hunt for a dream home in Canada, reportedly having zeroed in on a CAN$35.88mn (NZ$41.6m) mansion in Vancouver for her new life abroad with Prince Harry and baby Archie.
I thought those titles were no more?

I think he is still Prince Harry but no longer the Duke of Sussex?

He is Prince Harry. And Duke of Sussex. But he can't use HRH. Apparently that is a big deal

Oh OK. That makes sense. I knew the HRH thing but didn't realise he remains the DoS

Providers of goods and services to the Queen, Prince of Wales etc can display that on their labeling for commercial advertising
I suppose the Sussexes could try that in some fashion. But I'm not sure how much value that mark would command on the open market

Names and titles are a strange thing with them, watching some series on Netflix at the moment.
They changed their last name to Windsor during WW1 as they had a German surname...King George VI ( The Queens father) was born Albert..
The Queen and Dukes kids, Charles, Anne, the pedophile etc are in fact Windsor-Mountbatten ( Philip battled for years to pass on his last name to his children)

@Hooroo @canefan ah ok, I thought part of the deal was losing thier 'titles'
Apparently the Queen considered stripping the Duke title, but decided it would look petty. Can't strip HRH or Prince other than by Act of Parliament.

So he keeps HRH. But reportedly isn't allowed to use it?

Correct. I don't think they could actually legally prevent him, but that's the agreement.

I guess that leaves room to welcome him back if he changes his mind....

Yeah, William will probably need the support after the Queen, Charles and his siblings start to drop off.

@Hooroo I don't think they can afford that can they? Harry is worth about 50M and MM less than 5M I think I read.....
I honestly have no idea.
And I think a whole lot more of you for it

That video of Ginge Kardashian and the Skank, Duchess of The View was, as Bruce McAvaney would say, "special". There really is a rich lode to be harvested highlighting the life and times of these two most very important kiddies.
I'm enjoying this imbroglio nearly as much as video highlights of Their Kurtley in South Africa, passing good ball to fans in the third row back from the fence, being a turnstile and catching the ball with his bonce.

Sauces tell me that Ms Markle was allowed to go on a long holiday of Canada in November and December because there was a fear in high places that she would try to intervene in the UK election with some sort of anti-Brexit or anti-Conservative statement. The Daily Mail report that she is now absolutely chomping at the bit to get involved in campaigning in the US for anti-Trump candidates. I don't think Ms Markle ever respected the idea that the UK Crown and Royal Family stay out of party politics.

It is becoming increasingly plausible that she had her own agenda all along and used Harry as a springboard to achieve her personal goals. She has form in that regard. She split with her first husband once she gained fame on Suits. For someone used to dealing with a degree of fame it seems odd that she should be apparently overwhelmed by the attention she got marrying into the royal family (I watched part of an interview of the Kiwi editor of the Sun the other day who reckoned that Markle and the other royals are well protected from unwanted intrusions from the media since the Diana tragedy and that their treatment of her was overwhelming positive before she started throwing her toys from the cot) and within two years basically want out. I think she has Harry wrapped around her finger, and expected to be able to wield more real influence than she actually had, and when she got sick of the real royal life she's switched to plan B. Meanwhile Harry and their son will live far from his family, she is perfectly used to living apart from hers. Of course it is possible that Harry wanted out, coloured by his experience as a young boy forced to live through the death of his mother at the hands of the media, and sick of the scrutiny aimed at he and his new wife. Maybe they'll sit down with Martin Bashir someday and enlighten us all
