There's rumors Kamala Harris is in contention for the VP pick for Biden.
One of the few politicians more disingenuous than Hillary.
The Botox she appears to have had seems to have gone wrong rather horribly. The VP selection will be very interesting and an indication of Bidens confidence in the result.
He will be leaving it as long as possible to decide on either a tactical move or one better for governing -
Not that I think she’d be a great pick, but I’m pretty sure it will be Kamala.
She ticks the identity boxes and should be a reasonable attack dog.
Coming from California, she’s not super helpful for the electoral college, so the only other to choose from would be Demings (who has police baggage but is from Florida).
Warren would be better staying in the senate and focusing on anti-trust but I guess she’s the only other choice?

The Botox she appears to have had seems to have gone wrong rather horribly. If you were a dark-arts Democrat operative who wanted to fill the Presidency with a person who is realistically unelectable to the position in her own right, what better way than to put her on the ticket of a frail and failing man who has a decent chance of not completing his term? [\conspiracy off]

I think she would be a liability as running mate. Far too divisive.

You’re probably right, but 1) that may not stop them trying, and 2) their opponent is probably past his (dubious) peak.

It is a big gamble for the Dems to assume voters dislike the opponent so much that they'll back anyone you put up against him

@Crucial ummm how about skipping to 20 minutes or something and see if anything grabs. What are you, 7 years old?
Actually, don't bother, you know everything alreadyI don’t have the to watch a 90 minute video to get your point. Happy to hear it but FFS that seemed like a mutual appreciation society.
Don't watch any more mate, it's an hour and a half of introductions for the audience. Your instincts are spot on as always.
You have literally failed at an attempt to watch a video and have then bragged about it🤔
For anyone interested
Taibi made great points about the insecurities and half arsed will to be a president that Trump possesses. He neither has the will or fortitude to cause major problems ( civil or nuclear war) and is far too focussed on himself to bother for a cause. The next guy though...
If the dems win, they'll have huge problems with the woke institutions and the fear is this ineptitude is exactly what gives rise to fascist (proper historical context) leaders - history is the same whenever that happens - people fed up with a fumbling, arguing left.
That guy might have the stones that Donald patently doesn't. Rural America is armed and the gun sales since blm has been record. 40% are new gun owners, that'snever happenedbefore. That's a very real gauge (😉) of the mood of the people right now, and there's only weeks, really, till the fuse gets lit.The dems have made him electable again with impeachment at all costs approach and now offering a feeble candidate in a vp proxy election. Electorate feels they're being used.
Anyway, that's a fraction of the conversation that I remember. Not my words, just regurgitating and doing a very poor portrayal of 2 clever buggers nutting out some observations. They know more on the thread topic than anyone on the thread.
Watch it or not, I don't give a fuck but I'll keep posting conversations from real thought leaders, (they can't by necessity be short), as without them I, and you, don't know shit about what's really going on over there.🙂
and if you're fair dinkum about knowing trump, Taiibi was with him all through the presidential campaign. He's a must have source of information to consider

That raises a good question.
Who would be a "winnable" running mate? -

But if that was the case they probably would have done it already.
The running mate could well come from a swing state yet, or if the spectre of Bidens age starts to resonate with voters than someone with strong government experience could be the choice to provide a safety net. -

The issue I have with comments like this is its crap. It might go will with the Trump haters though. And it suits Trump as his opponents underrate him. As he slowly transforms the US.
My god Taiibi speaks garbage (its like reading PR). He's another TDS sufferer that plays right into Trumps hands.
