even now I'm wide awake
Have a juniper based beverage. Mix it with some fizzy quinine liquid. As my boss in PNG used to say, have 10 a day and you won't die of malaria. Cirrhosis probably, but not malaria.
There ain't much you can change about any of it, just keep on keeping on and stay away from coronavirus news, just depressing. It's like self diagnosis via google- I've had Ebola so many times...

Actually, I've been really well behaved lately, just having a cup of tea instead tonight as sleep is not happening now. Poor you with your Ebola, never considered that in your line of work handling body parts and fluids is hazardous to your health too, do take care!

glass of red and a wank works for me

@mariner4life How's your back?

Actually we did have those sorts of things happen. I delegated handling of bodies and and use of body bags to the cabin crew. Not my forte.
The self diagnosis is more of an issue. I have also had pneumonia, black water fever, dengue, and more recently coronavirus and yet I am still here and the internet lead me astray - like this joint (no I'm not smoking) I meant TSF.

@R-L Tea = Caffeine = Stimulant = Wide Awake
Gin + Gin + Gin + Gin =Passed Out -
Status Update:
Job hunting has been interesting, and the interviews even more so - I'll leave it at that, although I am not surprised at the lack of basic reading and listening comprehension skills of several interviewers.
Highlight of the last fortnight: someone actually apologetically told me I looked like Lenin, but I took pity on them and didn't admit that was the exact plan.I have a part time gig cleaning the lodge five days a week - minimum wage, but it keeps me focused and active. Plus I get to be THAT GUY when I see people ignoring basic hygiene and not cleaning up after themselves in the kitchen and dining room.
Some decent new arrivals lately, including a young woman from the same part of France where my daughters are living - nice to be able to get my spoken french back on track and up to speed, although she did make the point that my French betrays my age nicely.
-
@SynicBast If it's your French that's giving away your age, you're doing well!
