Stupid shit you see on the internet

Some clown drove up from Palmy for this to help relieve his/her financial debt burden. Did they think they would be the only one there even if it was real money?
I shake my head at this kind of thing.

@Hooroo you are knocking someone for escaping Palmy? Even for a day?
Keep the stupid isolated I say!

Don't know if its stupid or unfortunate and its not strictly speaking the internet, but I just got one of those Nigerian type spam emails. The senders address (when you check it out) is a bona fide multi nationals email domain. Either someone's account has been hacked or they are really stupid

That's probably about the equivalent of NZ$20 there.
I had a nice email from Tunisia the other day, which made a change from Nigeria. I know royalty from all over Africa.

I got one from Hong Kong a couple of days ago... so non-African, gotta be legit, right? Or is that racist?
One thing I've always wondered... no matter how sophisticated an email scam appears, even if they've gone to the trouble of getting corporate logos, etc... there's ALWAYS a misspelling. What's with that? Some kind of honour-system, where they feel obliged to include at least one clue that it's all bullshit? Also - I actually responded to one a year or so back, not calling them on it - just saying something like "800,000 quid - that's heaps bro, cheers. How do you want me to collect it... you wanna just come over to my place, and I'll get a party started?" type deal, and they never got back to me. Which I thought quite rude.

@Kruse yeah there was a show I watched years back in the UK where they engaged in conversation with the scammers and even arranged to meet up to handover the fee to enable them to collect the millions....
I got an email from my companies CEO a few years back, and yep, was one thing spelt incorrectly, although given my boss was supposedly asking me to click on a link to buy something, I kinda knew it was off!

Probably one of my unemployed pilot mates, so definitely not legit, didn't trust them when they had a job, (most of them are white so you're O.K. on the racism side - if you're white?). If you aren't then you are a racist.

We often get phone calls at work telling us there are warrants out for our arrest and what we need to do to make them go away 😀
