I'm not sure why I have an opinion, I don't read the Woman's Weekly, but I saw somewhere up to 10 staff are "helping" with the bullying investigation.
Have no time for Meghan and think she is likely the catalyst for all the angst.
I'm also of the opinion that she has misjudged public opinion, and the loyalty to the Royal family, Liz in particular. The latter is manifesting itself in the bullying claims in as much as I recall the stories did the rounds back then but the expected tact and discretion of the household staff kept it under wraps. Now she's started a war and said staff are less reluctant to expose the stories.
Just my Illnformed conjecture.

She's just very American, and it doesn't fit in well with the whole British stiff upper lip, keep calm and carry on thing

American actresses and monarchies just don't work. The gowns and jewels are 0.0000001% of similarity in the worlds.
Grace Kelly. Its hard enough for homegrown women to survive and thrive in the Royal family. Fergie and Diana are evidence of that

No they don't mix well. Some parallels with Wallis Simpson, I don't think that she was an actress though, just a well known American. The end result is very similar.

@snowy I was thinking of Grace Kelly and Monaco.
Yeah I got that from @canefan 's post but thought that Wallis was another. She was described as a "socialite" but seemed to follow the general theme.
She always seemed to see the royal family as a vehicle to increase her platform. As opposed to being part of something bigger and working within it. Once she realised it wasn't what she thought it would be she checked out

And we are back to Meghan aren't we?

I have no love for Meghan at all, I think she is extremely calculating and poor Haz was sweet and dumb and ripe for the picking. However, it is laughable that the press and the Palace keep going for her while instructing Prince Andrew to just step back a wee bit until the nasty matters blow over.
I don't blame Harry for bailing on that family, fuck be involved with all of that. In fact I'd say Meghan was a nice ticket out for him.
He's on a hiding to nothing really. And coloured by what happened to his mum, you can see why he would want out
LOLz.
Or.... “racist!!!”
One or the other, maybe both. -

Misjudged UK public opinion, but probably not US public opinion I suspect.
Yeah, could be right. But even then I suspect there's plenty of Tanks who see through her.
