Why were the Dems wearing white?
Just the women
It was a protest. They claim he is bad for womens progress etc etc
Great response to that here from a state congresswoman:

@Rembrandt
five thirty eight have gone full retard about Trump. They hate everything he says and does, sad decline for them. -

@Duluth I'd read reports that it was a tribute to the suffrage movement. Not to say there weren't several reasons to wear white though.
A better tribute would be Pelosi running in front of a race horse. I'd include Dianne Feinstein, but at her age she wouldn't make it out there in time.
-
So totally unverified rumour..apparently the speech given to Pelosi in prep for the rebuttal was different than what Trump presented. (You can see her reading it at the start) Absolute gold if true..though maybe a little short-sighted when it comes to future negotiations
also Boom! You just got owned big time Trump
-
@Rembrandt ffs, is that actually real? Jaysus they just can't see the wood for the trees.
-
@Paekakboyz There are others too which are larger discrepancies. Trump said nearly 5 million have come off of foodstamps when the actual total would be unlikely to be much more than 4 million.
The thing is this is actually part of his strategy. If all his claims were 100% accurate the whole thing would be a story for a day maybe and not many would hear about it because msm wouldn't report on it.
By exaggerating then all media outlets descend on it like a flock of braindead seagulls thinking they have a win..but all they've managed to do was keep a Trump success (albeit a slightly smaller one than he boasted about) in the press for much longer and in the case of the NYT article make themselves look ridiculous.
-
@Rembrandt its certainly working. Just makes them look like pedants. Lol they should be saying that its remarkablely accurate for Trump as he does love a bit of hyperbole đ

Canât stop laughing â at the tweet and the lib heads exploding right now.

@Salacious-Crumb have you stocked up on popcorn to watch the meltdown in Virginia over the governor?

AOC is now claiming that the version of her Green New Deal that promised âEconomic security to all who are unable or unwilling to workâ was doctored by the GOP. Unfortunately her webpage must also have been simultaneously doctored because the archive shows the same text.

Yeah, sheâs full of shit . According to Tim Pool the Democrats are trying to figure out a way to change the boundaries to get rid of her .
Still would though .

@jegga The Dems have a real problem donât they? Theyâve been ultra careful not to invite the description of Socialist but people like AOC and Bernie Sanders have very publicly ignored the rule. Now individual socialists may be able to get elected in the US, but as a party I donât think itâs
sanea viable electoral strategy.BTW, you know youâd save a lot of posting time if you put âStill would thoughâ in your signature, eh?

I thought this was an interesting take on her lunacy . https://www.google.co.nz/amp/s/www.vanityfair.com/news/2019/02/nancy-pelosi-alexandria-ocasio-cortez-new-green-deal/amp
Iâll put some thought into your second point .

"It will be one of several or maybe many suggestions that we receive. The green dream, or whatever they call it, nobody knows what it is, but they're for it, right?"
The Dems have a party that functions better than the Republicans. The party will tilt the scales against the outsiders again
