Get Metcalf a super rugby contract, a few NZ teams could use a goal kicker
-
Anyone says a bad word about Charnze can rack off
He is an effort player. Carries the forwards on his back by taking the ball up all the time. My first choice every time.
Our back three are expected to run it up hard like extra loose forwards. CNK never shirks the hard stuff
-
Great game, and a big win for the Wahs. The middle battle certainly met expectations. Both teams will be hard to beat.

His runs are always tough.

I think Metcalf has a little way to go on attack. We had lots of attacking opportunities but seem to go sideways. His speed is good so hopefully they can get that right.
Our kicking and contesting game is awful.
Our halves just need to be half decent (they are not there)) because we have a pack and outsides that are a top 6 side.

The pack will keep us in games, and the halves will have lots of opportunity to.attack. hopefully we can improve our execution as the season progresses

Threw that away at the end with some dreadful edge defence, hungus and brainless play the ball to no one.

Not happy with headshots not getting sin bins this year.
Forwards really roughed it out there today.
Great win that’s all that counts -

Great win that’s all that countsHeadshots aren't getting binned because of all 'the games gone soft brigade' come out in full force and whinge as a pack, and then will whinge when they don't get given.
The NRL has to be the only comp in the world where you just cannot win whatever decision you make, led by the dinosaurs on Channel 9 who just complain for the sake of complaining.
-
@African-Monkey they've got to have something to complain about to balance the relentless cheerleading - at least in their view.
-
Nice win for the Wahs.

Moses might be back earlier than they hoped, but still not early enough for Parra fans. Mind you I imagine even Dylan Walker adds immediate impact.
Fun fact the last time the Storm, Panthers and Roosters all lost in the same round was round 4 2016. I expect a few bounce backs next week
Warriors have bye next week and would be over the moon with 8 points from first 5 rounds. Dont get too excited we then play Melbourne in Melbourne so expect a loss. Still a lot to work on, but were really gutsy in wet conditions. Game management was largely ok, but 5th tackle options still need work in execution, whether better height on kicks, non existent pressure in kick chase, or bullet passes to no one in the wet.
I dont believe the DCE saga phases DCE at all, but Manly now have to play some tough sides without Turbo
Walsh's form is suspect and hence Brisbane beatable, but still will take a good side to do it.
Tigers showed a lot in defeat, dont know the last time a prop played 80 minutes without it looking like any major problem, Terrel May a beast. In fact him, Haas and Tino looking absolutely devastating.

NRL admits they were wrong sin bins back this week apparently
Let’s see…
