    Injuries not helping

    Classic Warriors

Absolutely, but the ticker in the last 15 is definitely new Warriors, not classic Warriors.

Don’t underestimate the Berry injury, one of our better defenders, his ongoing hammy issue forced the backline reshuffle and Drinky showed his class to keep going back to exploit.
Well done warriors for even hanging on

A bunch of players due to return in the next few weeks; RTS, JFH, DWZ. No need to bring the two backs into the side as starters in a hurry

After Vegas and the smashing by the Storm, who would have thought we could be in this position? If we can profit during the Origin period we can put ourselves deep into playoff contention

Yowser, though they were going to run us down.

I think I'm even more amazed at how we're going this season than 2023.

Especially after the start of the season. Also on paper the team didn't look that good. But JFH has been a serious leader at training and the young boys have followed his lead. Plus other guys like Erin Clark have exceeded expectations. I'm pleasantly surprised

If they want to get serious about winning more close games, I think they have to give goal kicking duties to someone else. Metcalf is super sketchy, Tuapiki did a better job when he kicked, albeit with a small sample size

Yeah, I was nervous even when he had that straight on penalty kick. 🙂

He missed one about 10m off centre didn't he? That goal and another conversion or two and we aren't all white knuckle until the end

Yep, and that game a few weeks back where we relied on him to get one where he was missing all day.

I'll admit, Metcalf has been much better at 7 than I thought he would be, but yeah goal kicking isn't his jam.

The important thing is Tigers are in the top eight and Panthers are dead last. Looks like Luai was a good buy.

Starting to get a bit of luck go their way in games too for once which helps.

With or without Galvin, they really are starting to build something special I feel, despite the media's best attempts to continuously drag them down.

    The Broncos are absolute frauds

And if the Panthers make the 8 no one will want to play them

Probably worth a bet if the odds were any good, they’re good enough if they can keep all their key players fit.

Looks like all teams hit the wall at some stage this year, give Broncos benefit of the doubt after that Bulldogs effort in the previous week.

No team looks unbeatable this year but all can look that way within a game.. tipping nightmare

Yeah, we'll get a better idea of how the competition is shaping up after about round 20 I feel.

Origin could also determine a lot of side fortunes.

    Bit of player movement around

The Cheese is apparently off to Souths immediately. Which is weird considering he is at least 6 weeks from being able to play.

Dom Young has been told he's free to leave the Roosters. This is no surprise as he's been a bit of a disaster at Easts. Wouldn't be a bad pick up if you got the right deal, but the Roosters are paying him a heap.

And it appears, not that long after they managed to keep him, the Titans are open to David Fifita leaving the club. Like Dom Young he's currently in reserve grade. Now, if the Titans were to pick up a bit of his salary, Fifita is one guy i wouldn't mind the Warriors having a real play at. Even at 80% he has more talent than any backrow, especially edge, forward we have. If you can get his head right he's one of the most destructive edge players in the game, a sight all too rarely seen over the past few years. $600k a year over a couple of years is worth the punt.
