Slow Horses has got me hooked at the moment. Four series to date and managed to get through three of them on the weekend

I re-subscribed to Apple TV+ recently and watched S3 and 4 in quick time. I'm about to ditch Netflix after the price increase.

I want to do the same. I've had enough of them axing shows I like, offering dead shit shows in their place and then spamming the screen with games.

What made S1 great was the human interest stuff, you were genuinely invested in the characters development. If I wanted to just watch chicks kill zombies I’m pretty sure I could find that on the interweb somewhere

Was gonna stockpile the last of us and watch it with the girl on a rainy weekend. Sounds to me like it's turning out exactly as I feared it would. Will still watch and decide for myself though.

First season had some outstanding action sequences but yeah as @voodoo says we as viewers were invested in the characters. DIsappointing to hear its not that good.

Ellie always had massive annoyance factor, I'm no prude but a teenager with a mouth like that was always pretty irritating.

TV shows these days are pretty screwed. Either they don't get renewed and we wonder what happens or they have subsequent seasons that aren't as good. VERY rare that a show is compelling from start to finish.

Only just discovered Bergerac is streaming, so looking forward to seeing it again. But it's a remake, and so far looks gash, horribly miscast Bergerac actor. Please tell me it improves. I have no great idea why I liked the original but I do and from memory this is no great replacement.

@MiketheSnow yeah I was never a fan of Brosnan, in anything and especially Bond, I think it was November Man where I changed my view, and yep, he does do baddies pretty well now, while he is pretty good in his role in Mobland, Mirren is the real baddie in this one!
