Just started Landman. Jesus fucking Christ, that finger scene, only caught a glimpse before getting my hand in front of my face... didn't think to fucking block my ears though. Not good after too many whisky's last night.
Great series. The daughter is too hot though
That felt wrong to type

Don't be so hard.
On yourself.

All finished with The Eternaut
Nicely set up for season two and got more interesting and compelling as it went on.
In saying that I hope it actually gets made. Doesn't seem to take much for shows to get cancelled without any notice these days.
I think Netflix announced season 2 would be happening not long after it first aired.
Sounds like a fascinating comic series too. -
Mobland - all in all, solid series.
Be interesting to see how they tidy it up (unsure if it wil be set up for another series)
Nice little cameo for Toby Jones too, always quality.
Regarding Maeve, makes it too easy to try and point her as the rat, although I think she craves the power, so if she is, there is a bigger plan. Also wouldnt put it past Conrad to be pulling the strings given how unhinged he seemed in his interactions with Richie & Jaime, with no fear of potential consequences.Given the fact we assume Eddie was just told he is Conrads son (which seemed clear a few eps back) I do find it odd how much Maeve seems invested in him, or maybe just a ruse as she using him to create chaos toward whatever her end goal is, particuarly given how she doesnt want anything to do with Seraphina who is also not biologically hers.

Sounds like a fascinating comic series too.I'm a sucker for anything post apocalyptic as I'm sure you know. Always interesting to see how they do the shows/movies even though they pretty much all follow the same basic premise first set out in the classic novel Day of the Triffids
They usually follow a lone survivor who hooks up with/clashes with other groups, this one was slightly different in that they were all in it together from the start.
I'm assuming the bugs are kind of drones and the other Aliens are the real brains behind everything ? That one that we catch a glimpse of at the end would be a hell of a piano player -
So Im sure Im not the only one who continued to watch The Last of Us to see how it played out. Season ended this week like a limp dick. Started well in first couple of episodes and then went south very quickly and stayed there. What a waste on potentially what could have been @MiketheSnow well predicted.

Have been planning on stockpiling some of these but the fern and social media have given me second thoughts.
I know what happens to Joel, that there is enough to put me offAlso all the backlash against Ellie as a character and the actor her ( them ) self.
Coming out as non binary is so heroic, so woke blah blah blah but good grief there are some absolutely feral comments on all the platforms about her/him/it/them.
People are sick of this whole movement and are really showing it.
The character becoming irritating as fuck hasn't helped either by the sounds of things.
But as per my post above it has a post apocalyptic setting with unique creepy monsters. That will be enough to get me at least giving it another go.

Personally I couldn't care about who she/they are in real life, for me that doesn't play into my mind when I watch a program.
I felt like too many flashbacks from different characters making the flow confusing, combined with a completely irritating character arc for the lead character. I dont think I even saw a zombie in the last couple of eps. Im sure others might like this, but wasnt for me.

@bayimports oh shit, was that the finale....
Yeah was a weak last ep, and oddly, some of the decisions Ellie makes and her actions, do kinda remind me of playing a video game....but yep, her being such a fucking annoying character!!!
Her idiotic decision to jump on the boat and chase 7 or 8 boatloads of armed people.S3 focussing on Abby, COULD be good, but she seems a sullen reckless character like Ellie, so not hopeful
Obviously they want us to assume Ellie is dead, although I guess Dina could have shot Abbey as I hadnt seen her anywhere

Your spoiler is accurate as I read the wiki from what was meant to be in the game..
It is a focus on Abby and yes we get to know if she really shot Ellie or not, I wont spoil that but from what I read, I don't know if I am going to like the next part, unless it gets more zombies -
@taniwharugby yeah had no idea it was the finale until I saw here. I'm completely fucking lost and yeah no interest in keeping up now if that bizarre mess is how it will be in future seasons.

Too much to tie up in one episode
I hope it goes to Season 2. Best thing out there at the moment.
It's a another woman not Maeve who's the rat -

It's a another woman not Maeve who's the ratYeah - lot of stuff happening... was confused by Taniwha's post - then realised: A - it was still running; and B - I hadn't watched latest episode yet.
Problem/bonus of watching this sort of stuff under-the-influence - I often have to re-watch entire episodes to remind myself of what I've already seen. Really need to get my shit together.
Anyway - agreed with SnowyMike:They seem to be suggesting that blonde lawyer bint is the rat. Although the logic of Harry coming to that conclusion - just because she says she thinks getting into Fentanyl is a bad idea - doesn't make much sense, when it was exactly the same rationale for Conrad suspecting Archie, and Harry didn't buy that?Oh - and re the psychopath being Conrad's kid - I didn't click to that. The mention of "your OTHER brother" - "you bitch" - had me confused. Really couldn't figure it out - until Taniwha's post made it click, then I saw Conrad take him for a chat. Dumb Kruse.
And indeed - Maeve's total acceptance of him but hatred of Seraphina - doesn't track. -
@Kruse yeah I also thought there isn't enough pointing to her (or some others) knowing some of what had happened, although as he knows Maeve is an evil bitch, other rat acts come into play...
Harry's play at the end shows he has an end game too.

Fuck - I need to go re-watch it... might as well do it right now while sober. Work can wait...
Oh yes - that's right. That dinner-table scene was worth a re-watch too.

@MiketheSnow I think he already knew, but is also why he did it....Freddie was a liability, talked too much and easily, and if Conrad found out Harry knew all along and hadnt told him.
