@sparky Sititi carried pretty well in 2nd half. Alone amongst the Chiefs.

Without Reihana, crusaders probably out in the semis. What a find.

Jordan definitely the Crusaders difference maker in these big games. Reihana has been superb, seems like a steady hand, unlike DMac.

Jordan looks to have bulked up his upper body substantially, carries a lot more into contact.

Well I called it at the start of the thread, all my teams lost this week. Congrats Crusaders. Back to the future. Penney finally wins at Super Level.

That was easily Reihana's best game of pro rugby, his best game since his schoolboy days. Jordan looks like a fullback these days. Taylor is in cracking form. Skafoon was really good too.

I can't be too nice to the Crusaders though so for the spice I'll say Reece is a dickhead and Blackadder was his usual busy but largely ineffective self.

Terrible game by the Chiefs. The bot called it correctly, QT was the only Chief with a good game.

There's been some hysterical commenting on this thread though, you'd think no team or player had ever had a bad game before tonight.

@Tim Sititi was unusually quiet. Finau was virtually silent.

Actually thought Sititi was caught out a couple of times as he retired onside, was a touch lazy at not staying aware.

Reihana, Jordan and saders front row were immense.

Every scrum in the 2nd half was a penalty opportunity. Chiefs had no answers.

Colin Mainsbridge looking like a genius keeping Penney around now. Fair play to them, they deserve to enjoy it and I’m sure a lot of people eating a lot of words. Proud burnside men getting it done on club day. Written in the stars some would say

That's malpractice in my eyes and I am even more angry about sam cane's red now as rugby obviously doesn't really give a fuck about player safety

Yup not a great look at all - as someone said in the thread - they are more interested by the cards... at the end of the day if there is a head clash worthy of a card surely both heads need assessing --

As for Jobcobson - I could see he was knocked out from Invercargill so what they hell were the officials looking at

I've often wondered even from a match point of view - do you even gain from having someone back out there who likely isn't thinking clearly.

@Donsteppa first thing he did was knock it on from Ah Kuoi in the lineout. Poor fluffybunny didn't know where he was.

I think we've seen the end of calls for Stevenson to be an All Black based on that performance.

And Beaudy is now clear first choice 10.

I would still have DMac as first five. No his fault their front row wasn’t up to it.

I see those errors most weeks. The difference was the Crusaders set piece was so dominant the Chiefs didn’t have the attacking opportunities they usually do. Probably the missing thing in DMacs game was goal kicking - conversion wide out and a penalty from 45m. Small margins.

Well done Crusaders. Jordan and Reece were fantastic and the AB front row very strong. Tupaea v good but the Crusaders shut down the rest with great defence and kick chase.
