Re-watched 28 Days and 28 Weeks later.
Both quality, but that opening scene as he wanders the deserted streets of London is awesome, sets the scene perfectly
Same. This may be heresy but I prefer 28 Weeks Later, primarily because of
the better cinematography, higher budget etc.Rose Byrne and Catherine McCormack. She looked rough as guts here compared to Braveheart.
Poor woman, has died a pretty horrible death in both films I've seen her in.

28 Years Later
DND
DID NOT DISAPPOINT
Will save the opinions for when the usual suspects have seen it
Worth the wait
See it on the big screen where it’s loud & proud
4.5 out of 5
The non-spoiler ratingJust saw it. Totally agree!

Some movies what I watched recently on last-minute long-haul flights, so tired and drunk and annoyed at life:
- Captain America: Brave New World ? Or some such.
-
- Forgettable
-- Literally. I watched this on flight back to NZ, and when browsing movies to watch on return flight - had to click into it before deciding I had already seen it
-- Titwatch, I assume: zero
- Forgettable
- Something else Marvel
-
- Can't remember. I'm going to assume forgettable and tit-watch zero
- Wolfs
-
- attempting to be stylish 2 major lead men bouncing off each other
-
- had its moments
-
- overall... meh
-
- at this point, I've been cut off from being served booze, but the scene of them threatening the kid not to tell his dad anything, and then going in and introducing themselves to same dad... did that make any sense? Did I miss a subtlety?
-
- it feels like there might have been tits in this? Or rather - should have been? But wasn't? I'm pretty sure it "should have been", and was a tit-watch of zero.
- Novocaine
-
- reasonable, if it didn't always add up
-
- tit-watch of nearly, I think?
-
- I'll still be re-watching Kick-Ass instead
- At least one other movie
-
- Obviously forgettable
-
- and presumably a tit-watch of zero, considering I've forgotten it
Fuck airlines. Their low tolerance for tit-watch, and their low tolerance for how many wines a man might need before even considering an attempt at sleeping in a flying noise machine filled with other fluffybunnies. Fuck'em.
-
Oh - remembered, as I was perused my list of downloaded media trying to choose tonight's final entertainment - one of the "at least one other movie" was Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare.
- Another case of "attempt to be stylish ensemble cast" - but... meh
- should have been positive tit-watch, but wasn't
- silly romp, liked the lady's legs

Well, you said yourself you were tired, drunk and annoyed at life.

Probably better to download something onto your own device and watch that instead
You mean - buy a tablet, load it with porn, and sit on a plane watching that?
That's... something to consider. I did manage to scare away one fellow passenger with my drunken mutterings about "fucking stupid people, don't know how to do shit, fuck them all, ..." - for the entire flight. Porn-tablet... I like that, could be even better. -

On the YVR-AKL flight. Yeah... fair enough. I was a bit of a jerk to start with. But still... could have done with just one more wine and I'd have happily gone to sleep.
But was positively fucking polite to the staff throughout. Absolutely no reason for them to stop serving me other than the sheer quantity. Cowards. -

F1: I should say I don't watch F1 and am not a car person. But I enjoyed the movie, if it is a bit long. Has a pretty traditional sports movie style story but everything is done pretty well, and the racing scenes are crazy.
They actually filmed the majority of the movie at the actual FI races and Lewis Hamilton was a producer so it seems authentic.

Fuck all that. The point of it would be to get every fluffybunny around me to get lost.

Mountainhead
Don't bother. This looks like megalomaniac tech bros as interpreted by high school devotees of musical drama . At best a parody of caricatures that can't land the joke.

Bummer. Had this cued up and was looking forward to some Succession-level arseholery. Like say....
-
No review as such but I’ve decided to watch Heat again as it is 30 years since it was released.
Fuck me, that sure as hell makes me feel old.
Also RIP Tom Sizemore and Val Kilmer. Neither made a better movie than this.
( actually none of the cast did )
Early start so only watched half but still awesome. The other half whinged from the other room that the gunshots were too noisy. Great stuff.

Lasted 10 mins with this.
This aint so Succession.
Yeah as you say, a constant stream of tech bro "bantz", none of which lands. But maybe that's the point? They're the 1% but they're not 1% as funny as they think they are and we're supposed to laugh at them not with them?
Either way, too excruciatingly cringeworthy to tolerate.

It must be shit then, Succession became crap really quick.
Will keep watching Heat I think.

Bro, some of the cast made two Godfathers.
