Mitchell, M SmithEarly days I know but sadly it looks like a tour too far for Furlong. I’d also say that at this stage Beirne has played himself out contention.
I’m a bit worried about our props. Genge and Schoeman both have their weaknesses but should be OK. On the other side I really don’t think anyone has put their hand up yet.
McCarthy to partner the skipper, Chessum on the bench. Cummings nowhere.

Yep and only someone who is a bit moronic goes to public stuff and spreads it around. Same with flu keep your bugs at home. We have had 3-4 the old fellas at Golf club just got over covid ,knocked the shit out of them for first 4-5 days. Real crook.

Not really a like for like replacement with Farrell
@brodean Morgan should start the first test. He’s their best number 7 by far.

Owen Farrell. what for? He doesn't cover 12 anymore, he has had an awful season, he'd be 4th choice 10 for me. Can only assume he's there to improve the training ethic, that will please Finn Russell.
Feel sorry for Daly, he was flying and even i've had to eat some humble pie about him, sad way to end a remarkable Lions career.
From what I've seen on tour so far, Beirne shouldn't be near the test XV and I can't work out what people are seeing in JVDF that makes them think he deserves his place. Morgan played well yesterday, in which case you need a big 8 and a proper 6, but I've a feeling Chessum will end up there.

That would be a mistake given their respective games on tour thus far.
Beirne looks like a liability; penalised off the park.
Curry was practically invisible.
