    For us -
    Excellent - Jordie
Good - CLW looked pretty busy, Holland (though doe go to ground easily for a big man), Ardie, Roigard, Newell.
    Questionable - Rieko, Proctor, Finau

I'd add Codie Taylor to excellent.

In my opinion the loose forward balance missed Blackadder greatly, either starting or off the bench.

@KiwiMurph Codie Taylor never seems to play badly. Mr Reliable for both the ABs and the Crusaders.

@KiwiMurph Savea is a luxury selection at 7. He can be a brilliant player, but tackling and hitting rucks are the core roles of a seven.

I've said for a few years now that he would be better used off the bench in the final 20 - 30 minutes.

You aren't the Lone Ranger there.

The prospect of playing Kirifi and Savea at the same time against full strength tier one opposition terrifies me. One doesn't do the work and the other is too small to be effective.

Reiko has the same weakness on the wing that he has at centre.

Mils Moroniana with the big call "now we know that Jordan is a great finisher, but there's only two wing spots."

These people have well paid sinecures ...

Rieko didn't look dangerous on the wing at all.
    Goes to ground easily.

Geez squeaky bum time. James Doleman man of the match for France for sure.

Unless I'm missing something, the TMO was Brett Cronin?

How good is Gael Fickou? Just gets in there with the young bloods and does the work.

Very confusing when they said Cronin in the first half and Murphy in the second.

2025 Rieko on the wing is not 2017 Rieko on the wing.

The ABs will repeat the eternal pattern of being a bit flat week 1 and then cut loose weeks 2 onward

Kind of what I half expected, but hoped for more. I doubted whether there was ever going to be a walkover (even if I wanted it). Was real stoked with my man Holland, and saw nothing to dissuade me of my idea he will be a 100 test AB. The CLW went well. I thought most went ok without setting world on fire. Proctor looked more comfortable in 2nd half.
Just saw the interview with Holland, his Dad is just gazing at him with a look of just such pride.
