Opening day of the NBA season so thought I might kick off the thread.

    Knicks v Cavs
    Spurs v Warriors
    Jazz v Blazers

Interest in the opening games are the new look Knicks with former Bulls D Rose and Noah, and of course Durant with the Warriors.

The Golden State Warriors look like they've been spending the offseason taking defensive tips from the cross-town San Francisco 49ers - giving up 129 points including 35 points to Leonard - wow.

Warriors were turnover city and didn't respect the ball.

The bench unit looked like they met in the carpark.

Gasol and LA in 2016-17 will be a better unit than the 2015-16 LA and Duncan. Manu and Mills off the bench supporting Parker and Leonard. I'm a fan of Anderson. He's basically a more mobile Diaw with genuine 3pt range. Add in the energy of Simmons and Spurs have a deep team.

Wow just catching up on some highlights and The Brow goes for 50. Add 16 boards, 5 assists, 7 steals and 4 blocks. He showed the full arsenal with dunks, hooks, jump shots.

Some poor play at the end by the Pelicans and they lose.

Liking the look of the Pacers. Balanced scoring and a more interested Jeff Teague.

Was quite aggressive on the offensive end. Took a lot more shots than the past

Yep. But it was against Philly. That's Ben Simmons-less Philly too

    decent pay rise!

That is a staggering amount of money really, just mind boggling - almost $500k per week.

Love this reaction from Balmer to a thunderous Westbrook dunk. He may own the Clippers but he's also a big ball fan clearly
