... though for all the talk of missing Vettori's economy rate, Santner isn't too far off during this series.

On the whole a much much better bowling and fielding effort. Led by the senior pros.

Got 'eem, yeeees! A bit late....

C#nt can play cricket - I'll give him that!

The others make 90 off the bat between them.

Yep. Aussies will think that total is a couple of dozen short. Big ground, hard to protect, but hard to find the fence sometimes, too.

NZ in with a decent shot

*unless of course Starc gets out his CWC 2015 form and starts skittling openers.

It used to win us tight matches.

Southee & Boult at the death, what do you reckon Kane, a good idea?

Much better effort NZ. Hustle in the field was certainly better - though I thought the throwing was woeful pretty much throughout - Watling was scrambling all over the place.

A positive from this series is Boult looks much closer to his best.

@NTA Warner made it look easy - no-one else seemed able to time it. Not sure why - it didn't look particularly difficult. We'll find out I guess.

On the face of it, it's not a total that should require us to do anything outrageous.

My guess is that we'll find it harder than it looks and we'll be a lot slower to 100 than we want - ~25 overs - who knows how many wickets down.

I'm at the G, been hydrating all afternoon watching some great cricket. Finally our bowlers give the batters a gettable score. GAME ON!

I'm stuck at the fucking school Christmas carols. I seem to remember posting something like that around this time last year.

Ian Fucking Healy. That's twice now... you only carry your bat if you're not out.

Good to see Latham in a positive midset. I think he was stuck in test mode the first two games. Looking to score off every ball tonight.

Not sure about the first game but in the second game he looked like he was overwhelmed by the target.

Looked like that one held up a bit. Good start though, took some heat off Guppy.

Wow, an actual decent bowling performance. Boult, Santner, de Grandhomme all tidy and took wickets. Not sure what the fuck Munro was doing.

Ok start, 48/1 off 10. Latham gone for 28.

Doing this at a canter. Conditions not tricky. Plenty of space to hit singles or threes. Predict these two will piss it in short of a miracle ball

You can fuck off with your reverse jinxing. That's our thing.
