I might have missed one but I'm pretty sure this is the third complaint upheld against John Campbell for lying since he left 3 well over a year ago.
I think Helen Clark summed him up best " a sanctimonious little creep".

@jegga they don't make cool stories unless they make shit up...as I have said on here before, I know they lied on Campbell live about a story I saw happen.
in my old job we used to get threatened with 'we'll take you to Fair Go' a fair bit...fortunately, at the time, Far Go were pretty good and only took a story if they felt it was a valid one.
I was contacted by them twice, but once they were provided our side of the story, they realized it was a non-event and it was done, never ended up running with either.

@jegga I was at a workshop in Auckland a few years back and he and his types were having some kind of seminar in the room next door and he and most of his mates looked like they needed to be punched then.

@jegga IIRC I think that was what he looked like at the time, he was wearing some outrageous purple suit, I remember at the time thinking I'd love to punch the dumb fluffybunny, cos it was around the time he was getting his face in the media over his party pills.

@taniwharugby yeah he was everywhere in the media raving about how cool his party pills/chemical cocktails were a few years back. He started some embarrassing band and was going out with a penthouse pet . I bet she left either as soon as the money ran out or he decided long blonde hair suited him.

always interests me some of the articles they do not open for comments, yeta one like this is clearly going to draw in the same old BS comments you see everywhere else,so why bother, especially with your new moderation rules, this is only gonna create a shitload of work for someone

this is a prime example of what is wrong with giving people the ability to comment...it is clear many of them didn't actually read anything bar the headlines, and then some who read the article didn't actually take it on board...

Yeah guys like Campbell are total shit bags, who really have no place being in a position like they are given the totally bias (and often blatantly wrong) way he presents things.
Granted sometimes he only goes with one side of a story, but a good idea would be to fact check that side, rather than taking them as being 100% if you aren't gonna bother getting the other sid eof the story, although occasions when he does this, his questions and arguments are usually pre-loaded so the otherside doesn't get a fair go.
He really is the biggest fuck knuckle.
