Yeah. He looked too leg side reliant, and trying to overhit everything.

Wonder if that was bowling plans base on a bit more knowledge.
Don't know enough.
But wasn't very impressive.

His batting partner Young, who I've always rated, looked a better bet as he has scoring options 360 degrees. But even he was looking a bit scratchy.

Young, who I think is the best young uncapped bat in the country has had a poor start to the season (when the field is wide open) and assume he's not currently in close contention. He's not outperforming Nicholls. Plus he needs to sort out his flemesque conversion rate at this lower level before higher honours in the red ball stuff.

Give Bruce a go.. Taylor was a sweep slogging machine.. I still rated him highly even back then but it took a while before he was given a shot..

Bit disappointing from Broom really. Hope he gets three games to show his stuff, but he needs to take his chances.
