    Aarggh, Henry!

That's a pity, because a test ton would have given him a lot more confidence than an "almost" 98.

My thoughts exactly. Cricket is a prick of a game. An unbeaten 120 odd would have done absolute wonders for him. Listening to him get bowled on the radio was pretty heartbreaking to be honest.

Watching it on TV you can't say he was really that unlucky as he was pretty lucky not to get out about 5 or 6 times from 87 to 98.

Unlucky is the Bangladesh bowler Taskin.

Not sold on any of Raval, Henry or de Gramholme.

As someone said they will be badly exposed against SA and with Watling in poor form and our tail unable to play the short ball we could see alot of very big collapses once Latham, Williamson and Taylor are out.

127/3 to 137 all out kind of stuff.

I'd like to see Guppy come in for either Henry or CDGH. I don't think we can drop Raval just yet, there's really no-one else to try there.

    A lineup of:

    Raval
    Latham
    Kane
    Rosco
    Guppy
    Neesham
    BJ
    Santner
    Southee
    Wagner
    Boult

Would be ideal. Provided Neesh can get and stay fit - I don't even know why he's not playing at the moment?

Yep that team looks a hell of a lot stronger. CDGH can dine out on his six fer all he wants and good on him but he hasn't looked like anything else since. The Neesh has a proven record with the bat and is decent enough with the ball, take away said 6 fer and he'd be better.

Nicholls 98 may be enough. We'll see. Guppy hardly has the rest record to demand inclusion by right.

Yeah, definitely. Nothing unlucky about that dismissal. Nicholls was constantly threatening to chop it on and he finally did. Not convinced anyone else could do any better at 5, except perhaps Brownlie.

Raval needed to keep the tache. Any coincidence that he and CdG's form has dropped since they removed the slug? 😉

Decent enough start for Bangles, basically getting to parity one down.

Thing that has surprised me about them on this tour, is that they have never really looked that troubled to score runs. Very positive approach, and good to see

CDGH gets the breakthrough. Keep writing him off @MN5 we need a quick 5-for.

Would have been a double breakthrough if Raval had test quality hands. Whose idea is it that he should be fielding in the slip cordon? He seems to be pretty ordinary there.

Some of Bangladesh's shot selection has been very poor.

No idea - but, lots - well into double figures I'd think. They dropped four in a session in the first test.

It's been really substandard - far from being the best fielding team in the world, more like one of the worst - though the Bangles have been even worse.

Fuck off with your truthin M4L. ...

    ( even though you're right )

Southee joins our greatest ever, everyone's favourite spinner, an alleged cheat and test crickets worst ever batsman.

Southee is also the second fastest to 200 test wickets after Hadlee.

Bangles starting to crumble - essentially 27/4. Last specialist batsmen at the crease.
