Hazlewood and Starc still have an uncomfortable number of overs left.

Cats among pigeons if they get among Southee, Ferguson and Boult.

At the game and pretty slow going. Real lack of boundaries and still not a single 6 despite some of the shortest boundaries out.

Keen to see how ferg goes in this pitch. Could crack 150 today here but will need to be accurate

Felt like we needed 330 on the board but looks like 280 if we can bat well from here. Could easily be Fuk all if lose one of these two soon

I was looking for the wide signal and wondered why the hell he was putting his hand up! 🙂

No snicko spike, but there actually looked to be a little hotspot high on the bat to me.

    Great decision! 🙂

Most runs at Eden Park, I think.

    Jimmy goes - 210/6 after 38.

Too many wickets down, here - we're running the risk of being bowled out cheaply.

    Still two wickets too many.

too many starts with no one going on. Guppy needed to turn that in to a big one.

No one in our team batting below 5 has an average of above 30. Our best four batsmen are our first four batsmen. It makes it tough for them because they can't get out cheaply and have to bat the majority of the overs. There is still hope that Broom and Neesham could be a good 5 and 6 partnership.

A big hope of NZ cricket is an injury free Neesham.

Not to mention that Anderson bloke...

Case that they should have sent Timmeh out ahead of Santner in this situation.

Tim is only going to play one way, so there's something to be said for knowing how much he's going to contribute today in planning how to bat the rest of the innings.

We've at least got it well into the territory of 'runs on the board'
