Late to 30 Rock, basically caught up four seasons in a few weeks. Love it.

I quite like coming late to a series and then watching them all in a row - I did it with West Wing and watched an episode a day for nearly half a year.

It was class, I thought the tone has been a bit off this series (like the writers were trying too hard) but this was a welcome return to form.

Sampled a few comedies and dramas, and most of what I saw was shit. I have a bunch of other new shows on my DVR but haven't had time t sample due to the RWC, plus college and NFL football seasons.

The ones I am still watching of the sampled:

Homeland - Seen the first two, so far very good. Loved Damian Lewis (RIP Life) since BoB, and Claire Danes is great in it

American Horror Story - Kind of meh, only two aired so far. Watched it mainly because of Connie Britton. Big problem is creator Ryan Murphy (Glee, Nip/Tuck) normally runs out of ideas after 7 episodes or so on his shows.

Revenge - guilty pleasure campy network show, but I am surprisingly enjoying it. Depends how the story progresses.

I am looking forward to Hell on Wheels that starts November 6th, purely based on AMC's recent series history (Mad Men, Breaking Bad, Walking Dead, Rubicon, not so much the Killing)
PanAm
I like the way in The Borgias that Jeremy Irons seems to have styled his character on the Emperor from Star Wars. Very cool.

I'm hoping that the storyline gets a bit meatier though. At the moment it is going through the motions of setting up a victim for a ruthless ending then moving on to the next one.
episode 3, and same M.O...u

up to ep. 8 of Breaking Bad, still enjoying it! Gus is one smooth operator

We've been watching Haven, Downton Abbey (god help me, I really like it - like tape if I might miss it like it), Community, Modern Family (probably my favourite comedy on at the moment), and Spy. I've cheated on Sons of Anarchy. Looking forward to the new season. Caught up on Mad Men (I'm undecided on whether I like it or not). Seen some of Ringer with Buffy. I keep expecting her to kick ass with super human strength, but it doesn't happen.
