Highlanders v Waratahs

He didn't land in a dangerous position as he was able to take some of the impact with his arms, but technically he went past the horizontal so the ref was left with no choice. I don't have a lot of sympathy - lifting players like that is stupid play.

That tackle didn't go beyond the horizontal.
I think it did, but whether it did or not is irrelevant. You can't pick a guy up and drop him so he lands on his shoulder/head.
-
Feki fucking toa, since when can you put in deft chips like that? Pin point accuracy exploiting the big man on the wing - smart play.

I see where you are coming from. That was the sort of tackle which could have been a red had things gone wrong.
-
NIce by Feki there!
A few shoulders charges into rucks going on by both teams.

Clear yellow. Marshall is talking nonsense as usual.

WR have said that a player bracing with his hands is irrelevant. Can't escape sanction because you are lucky the tacklee braced himself.

interesting passage there, looked like he lead with elbow, then Li had all rights to ball and player on ground was holding
-
Not a lot of consistency from the ref in terms of players not releasing the ball.
