@Stargazer If it was awarded to Napier the game would just end up being rained off....

That's cricket! Any year that NZC doesn't schedule a match in Napier it puts the fruit industry in strife because then they get no rain.

@ACT-Crusader Surely if you want to take big tests to tin pot grounds you might as well go all in and award it to Christchurch.... 🎣

Frankly, the Cantabs have yet to prove they're serious about beating the top international touring sides, unlike, say, the Auckland Blues, instead choosing to focus on this lower level flash harry "Super Rugby" hit & giggle stuff.

'Exhibition' matches don't really bother us too much....

As long as Cheika keeps selecting and playing Moore all is good.

    Beale??

There's not really an option to be added from the Brumbies either. Hawera isn't qualified yet Lealiifano is more of a 12 (and isn't exactly match fit)

Looks like it will be a utility to back up Foley

38 with the Brumbies to come? Just name everyone Cheika. The man picks the biggest squad possible, but can't name a full team on time...

    That's, um... that's a depressing selection really.

What happened to Rory Arnold? He and coleman looked quite scary as a locking combo last year

6 of the uncapped newbies were born in NZ.

Good decision to leave Quade out.

@Tim That's making a complete joke of the judicial system again. Serving his suspension by not playing a Counties Manukau's preseason game and (possibly) a club rugby game that he would never have played if he hadn't been suspended. I just plain hate it when this happens, whether it's an All Black or a player of another team. Commit the "crime", do the time ... not like this.

@Stargazer it might suck, but it is the same as it has been for everyone for as long as I can remember.

@taniwharugby Yep, perhaps SBW asked Owen Franks for tips? 😉

The simplest process is that the suspension is served for games at the same level or above.

@Bovidae so that would mean if you are suspended for the AB's, you can still play Super rugby?

So in theory, you get suspended in last game of EOYT, can play Super rugby, but suspended for first game of June tour?
