Awesome write up Sidney.
I read it wrong for a start (I thought you said it was one of four original teams not to have won Super Rugby ... not ONE of the four originals). So am trying to work out who of the originals hadn't won it ... and then trying to work out who the originals are/were. Can you help ? (Mind you I could google)
All 5 NZ franchises have won now, as have each of the three Aussies, throw in the Bulls/NT Blue Bulls with a couple that would leave 3 Saffer Franchise/Provinces.
There were only 4 SAF Provinces in 96. IIRC the original provinces would be:
- NT/Bulls (I recall NT being in the first S12 as I went to the Semi Final at Eden Park)
- Sharks/Natal (beaten finalists in 96)
- Transvaal (Gauteng)/Lions
aaand? - WP/Stormers
or - OFS/Cheetahs
or ... were - EP involved
(again IIRC provinces qualified from standings in the previous year's CC)
Anyway you've almost convinced me that you guys winning may not be a bad thing ... but nah

LOL, I think the #culture is on Ackerman. He just fixed some stuff at a time when they needed to be fix. Lucky coincidence if you will
On that point I think he is perfect for the bulls right now. He will leave them better than he found them, but everyone will be happy after the divorce.
