    I don't like sausages. I'll have the occasional sausage sizzle but I'll never go out of my way to buy them. Especially not when you can just get actual cuts of meat (for a similar price these days too).

    @Nepia A great sausage is a thing of beauty. I go to a swiss german place around from work, delicious any time of the day

    I'll cook up some boerwors on occasion, but sausages in general when steak, chops etc are available ... no way.

    @Nepia Sausage sizzlers aren't sausages.

    I'm with @canefane - a decent wurst chorizo or blood pudding mmmmmmm

    OK this is the last word on sausages. A good sausage is a thing of great beauty. A not good sausage, i.e. average to bad is not worth the drippings off your nose. Anyone that cannot appreciate a good sausage has probably never even tried one and therefore has no opinion.

    Any circular type counter argument will likely see this thread closed down.

    Good black pudding and fried eggs is a breakfast of champions that packs more flavour punch than bacon. I love them both though

    Yes.

    this place converted two people I knew to good sausage.

    There's a joke about loving a good sausage, but I'm not going to make it.

    Not dissing mate I love bacon. I remember eating about 30 rashers of streaky bacon at the breakfast buffet of Jupiter's on the Gold Coast. Just like Supergroove I can't get enough! But black pudding is also awesome

    ah we cant be far off having tour packages to NK can we?

    There's been tour packages available to North Korea for ages - I first looked into it about 5 years back, and it's still in my Top 5 of intended destinations.
    The only new thing is that there is now a Russian company allowed to do it, in addition to the several that already exist.
    Good reporting, Stuff.

    This could go in the nz politics thread, I can imagine the arseclown who wrote this pressing send then folding their arms smugly never thinking for a second that this weeks outrage about Hosking has probably boosted his package withTVNZ by another $50000 and got him a lucrative endorsement deal.

    I really dig BP don't get me wrong but the better half grabbed a massive slab of it which lasted several brekkys and I found myself getting a bit sick of it at the end. This would never happen with bacon.

    Saw this in the paper this morning. Sounds like some of you should become supporters and get a jersey.

    Yes, look closely and those are sausages.
