This is no excuse for our poor play but Fraser has a big blindspot when it comes to players in front of the ball at the breakdown. Every ruck the Mooloo players just walk past the ball with a vague finger on the bodies and keep walking into the CM players

@Crucial pretty common these days with most team setting up their blockers. Refs need to start pinging them for it. I did hear him warning Waikato to get behind the ball.

Yeah, I just find it weird that 'blockers' is even part of the rugby language when, by law, there is no way you can set up in a blocking position. There are clear laws on offside and being bound to a ruck and these can easily be seen and enforced, yet they get ignored.

@Crucial Yep totally agree, most 9s won't put hands on the ball to box kick until the blocks are in place. AS is often yelling and directing players into place.

Just got back from the game. I'm happy with the win and 5 pts after Waikato let C-M back into the game in the 2nd half. It did seem like whoever had the ball would score though .

Strange tactics by C-M, and in particular Pulu, with those long kicks.

Beaver got a good applause when he left the field.

Very impressed with Sullivan up close. This kid looks to have a big future.

Manihera is playing well too and scoring tries for fun.

@Bovidae Do you think he will replace Sanders at the Chiefs?

Luke Jacobson is probably that replacement 6/8 and Tyler Ardron was signed earlier.

    So far we have:
    Cane
    Boshier
    Karpik
    Messam
    Brown
    Jacobson
    Ardron
    Seu

He could be useful for the Canes.
