TPN replaces Moore whose wife is farting out a kid. Rookie Jordan Uelese in line for a debut which is a surprise as Latu is available.

Coleman back, pushing Simmons to bench and Rodda out.

Kepu into THP to shore things up while Alaalatoa goes to the bench.

DHP is out with a torn biceps so Hodge goes to wing.

Kerevi gets back on the bench as a result.

Oh yes: Dempsey on the bench for Timani by the looks. That makes three opensides in the squad.

@MN5 doesn't have the top end pace though none of our wings really do. Good boot though, and I'd suggest he will be sweeping back to cover Folau's lack of kicking

@Bovidae That's a good looking team, although I'm still not sold on Jantjies as a Test five-eighth.

Should be a cracking game. I'll probably have to watch it on replay as I'm going to a brewery opening...

    AMAZING STATS:

Both the Springboks and the Wallabies have played 101 Rugby Championship matches.

Of those, each side has won 42 matches, lost 57 and drawn 2.

Even more bizarre is that, in all of that time, the Wallabies have conceded 2,472 Rugby Championship points to South Africa's 2,473.

In the 'points for' column, the Boks have a slight advantage having amassed 2,197 points to Australia's 2,147.

That's an average 24-22 defeat for both sides - thanks in main to the All Blacks' dominance over the years.

Yep. Could well be proven wrong, but to me Jantjies looks very flaky at the top level. Could be a decent impact sub though.

Jantjies will be fine if his forwards lay a platform.

I haven't seen any Bok games this year but does he defend in the line?

For the most part he has.

Cronje is the key. He has Smith like service. Probably my favourite Bok player to watch at the moment.

Usually I cheer on the Aussies in these matches, but watching the pressure build on Cheika is great 🙂
