    That score is the highest score Canterbury has ever conceded; previously conceded 59 v North Harbour, 1994 and 59 v Waikato, 2002.

    The 46 point loss is the worst loss in Canterbury's history - previously 37 point loss (11-48) to Wellington in 1990.

    Embarrassing effort from Canterbury. They should be ashamed putting in such a weak performance like that.

    Watching Canterbury get a taste of their own medicine was good fun.

    Gee those Wellington forwards around the park were brilliant. Lousi was sensational.

    The result doesn't say much about Canterbury, but Wellington, how much have they improved since last year!

    And preseason I think you would say that our squad was worse this year.

    Only caught the highlights of this fixture, but that in-out by Aumua on a winger was beautiful to watch.

    Good to see Canterbury shown hwo to play in those conditions too.

    The Wellington forwards were getting dominated especially at scrum time. The Canterbury backs were very poor.

    @number9 Once Toomaga-Allen went off their scrum improved. I notce Alex Fidow gets a bit of shit on here for his scrummaging but I don't think he's gone too badly from what I've seen of him.

    That was a heavily laden All Black team so more credible really.

    Waikato did have Derek "the killer" Maisey at 10 though, that certainly balanced the ledger 😂

    The scum was good with Fidow on. And his scrummaging has been good all year.

    This NPC has been great to watch. With the amount of outstanding young talent coming through the systems. Aumua of course (what a try) But also some others who either fit into the just how good can they become (Walker-Leawere/ Fidow) but other who look potentially quality super rugby players (Umaga-Jensen / Verney / Parapara / Ben-Nicholas / Kirifi etc)

    and Garden-Bachop isn't a first year player like the above but he's a different player this year. Just a passer last years now he taking on the line. The Rebels will be over the moon has he is progressing. And maybe Aussie rugby too

    @Winger
    You seem to forget Lousi. He is one who has improved beyond all expectations.

    Concerning Fidow, this is good news as his scrummaging had always been suspect. He is a formidable player in the loose, very quick for such a big man and hard to stop. A future AB ?
