When I saw the Bournemouth result, for the first time ever, I thought; Arsene it's past time to go.

Really should have called it a day after his last FA Cup triumph but it appears he's an addict.

Funny! So did I. With Sanchez going we need a new leader there

Nah I hope he stays a while longer πŸ˜‰

How do Liverpool manage to look so unstoppable and then come crashing down against the lower teams? The real battle is looking like the top 4 at the moment.

    Man C 65
    Man U 53
    Chelsea 50
    Liverpool 47

    Spurs 45
    Arsenal 42

@kiwipie this morning's result is the most Liverpool thing ever. Beat City one week, lose to the bottom side a week later. It's what they do, and why they will never win the league.

Really lop-sided league this year, with the top 6 light years ahead of everyone else. No one from 9th down is safe from relegation, and they would all deserve it.

    Classic Arsenal!

Getting thumped away from home 3-1 against bottom of the league.

no longer bottom of the league. Back-to-back wins against top 6 opponents and they are out of the drop zone!

They were earlier today until Arsenal gifted them 3??

Plenty of activity as the transfer window closed this morning.

    • Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang joins Arsenal from Borussia Dortmund.
    • Olivier Giroud goes to Chelsea from Arsenal.
    • Michy Batshuayi goes to Dortmund on loan.
    • Islam Slimani has moved on loan to Newcastle United
    • Badou Ndiaye has joined Stoke from Galatasaray.
    • Lucas Moura transfers from PSG to Spurs

    @hooroo

I hope Sanchez got booed this morning.

Winning vs Spurs was easier in an Arsenal shirt. πŸ˜‰

@rocky-rockbottom One wonders when Pool will purchase themselves a competent keeper.

The similarities for the Liverpool - Spurs match to Ireland France rugby were there ... not much happened until about 15 mins to go then it ALL happened!

I don't really care for either club, so happy to see a 2-2 draw.

Hell of a day lined up on the sofa here.

    9am-12.pm: NBA Clippers vs Pistons
    1pm-9.pm: Rugby Brisbane 10's.
    9pm-11.pm: Soccer Spurs vs Arsenal

14 hours of total inertia. Godspeed the vortex.

I hope Blake rips them a new one!

@rocky-rockbottom nice summation. Harry could have easily scored 2 or 3 so I'm glad that we won the game because Lacazette missed a sitter. Arsene's comments prematch about players who dive were interesting considering his new lady boy Micky was the best diver on show in the NLD

Hi Arsenal fans. Season is proper done now. Lost 0-3 to City twice in 5 days, 10 points off 4th with 10 games to play. Must be just about time to go on a positive run of form to secure Arsene another year aye?

@mariner4life Surely SURELY he won't be there next season. This has been a disaster, even for Arsenal recent times

As close to Burnley as they are to Chelsea

Really lop-sided table this year. After it looked like the whole league was "leveling out" the top 5 (or generously, 6) have pulled away again. Nice and tight at the top, and the bottom, but that bottom starts at 7. And the gap is massive.

Edit: Actually, that's rose tinted. Nice and tight 3rd to 5th. First has already finished the race.

I'm happy to assist Man City winning the title. πŸ˜‰

Wenger has to be gone soon as there has been talk of a player revolt. Fuck knows who the replacement could be. Brendan Rodgers - don't make me laugh. Celtic is his level. Joachim LΓΆw is an interesting name mentioned.

@bovidae appointing Loew would involve Arsenal writing off another season. He's not coming until after the World Cup, and that's not enough time to evaluate the squad, change tactics, and make trades. And you can't do much in January because it's too expensive.

If they are going to move, they need to move now, and get someone lined up. Zero point waiting until the end of the season, what will that achieve? Top 4 is gone (Wenger wouldn't get them there anyway). They won't come 7th. Make the move you spineless gits.

    @mariner4life

The board should be looking offshore. Luis Enrique is available and so is Thomas Tuchel. The latter was always mentioned as a possible replacement when he was still the manager of Borussia Dortmund.
