Terrible time for the Blues to (really) go to custard with the Warriors belting the Roosters in Sydney by 30 points.

So they came back and that muppet Fiane, (whoever rated him?), kicks two awful aimless kicks and momentum turns. Not that I think the Blues would have won because they didn't dominate the forwards.

@broughie I almost laughed when he had a second go and then it was such an awful attempt I stopped immediately.

They were clearly under instructions to kick for territory, he wasn’t the only one kicking ball away. So while the execution was poor, a decent coach would have implemented a game plan that played to his teams strengths.

Or selected or recruited (he’s had three years) a team to play to that game plan.

The 63 points the Sharks scored is the highest score the Blues have ever conceded, equalling the 63 the Chiefs scored when winning 63-34 at Hamilton in 2009.

Yes the worst score at home, the next worst was 51 points 14 years ago

It's also worth noting this is only 5 matches after the most embarrassing defeat in the Blues history: 21-48 vs the Sunwolves

Or selected and recruited players with the necessary basic skills. Every 12 in the country should be competent kicking off both feet. No matter what other attributes they bring.

He's normally a good punter, but those were some duds. 12s probably average 5 kicks a year in this era, so it's not as big a need at 12 anymore.

    Trainor, you tool!

Bullshit call that. Replay showed Trainor was stationary on both feet before the Shork player left the ground. Jumping player jumped into him. He created the issue.

@kirwan TBF Collins was the least of the Blues problems last night, in fact, easily the pick of the backs

I particularly liked how he called “touch” as the last line of defence for a couple of those Sharks trys.

My example was more about Tana’s poor selection anyway

@kirwan half the team were playing touch last night...as for his selection issues, these have been contentious since he started at the blues having his faves and playing them ahead of better players.

Blues problems start with him but they are much deeper than just him...the 9-10 axis is another big problem too, but then that is nothing new.

Don’t disagree, but when you see the fullback just fling out an arm and not even try to tackle you know its going to be a long night.

So I disagree he was the least of our problems, he’s a consistent sack of shit.

Maybe the Blues need to gather into a circle and focus on their breathing after scoring a try

    @Kirwan @Duluth

You should be sweet for a win this weekend though, you've only got the severly depleted Chiefs!

Seriously though,I am a bit annoyed at the timing of this result as I can see them coming out quite hard against us to prove a point.

I am hoping your lot just roll over and say tickle my tummy like they did against the sharks

Super coach will play Reiko at 10, bench Akira and make Collins captain. You could bet your house on a Chiefs win.

I repeat, he’s the worst coach we’ve ever had and we’ve had some shit coaches.
