you need to do more than look at doing some running, you need to actually DO running! Wellington has lots of hills doesnt it....

Some decline or incline ( ie feet on the dining room table ) push ups for a bit of variation. 3 sets to reach 100 reps in total, pleased as punch about that although I know the upper chest will be feeling it. Legs suitably recovered for a run tonight too.

Latest in my "feats of strength to try and impress people" is handstand push ups. Can't do these freestyle as it were but pretty adept at them with the legs balancing on the wall. These are rather brutal, hard to bust out too many and toying whether I am gonna put a vid up on FB or not.....

Have to manfully admit that on video evidence they aren't quite hand stand push ups more "really, really steep decline push ups" still hard, still tough on the shoulders yet still feel great. Loving my new training regime. All booked in to have my "gait" analysed and get some new wheels soon so that'll be cool as I'll be stepping up the running.

So busted out some skull crushers for the first time in ages the other day while cleaning out the garage and did a PB despite not having done em for fuck knows how long ! guess the old handstand push ups that aren't really handstand push ups have been helping. Fuck the old tri's hurt for days after them though, yikes.

Repetitive training can dull your edge through muscle fatigue. Better to keep it to a couple of sessions a week and crank hard for 20 minutes.

With the running, keep changing it - fartlek is great, especially if you're in a hilly area, or you can do hill sprints - sprint up, walk back. I love getting a sprint on during a running session... right until I have to go back to actually keeping it above 11km/h afterwards!

OK, so no shortage of hills. No shortage of fat. Summer coming soon. Let's see some hill <strike>sprinting</strike>walking. I'm not expecting much in the way of pull ups though, TBF. ;)

The best post was the OP and workout intentions. In April. Body weight stuff-excellent. Since then MN5 has been keeping his workouts a secret. Update?

Bit of a weird post Kea, never realized I had no shortage of fat, thought I was looking pretty trim actually.
