Oh hey, did I ever post that I sat next to the manager of the band Mayhem on a plane once? She got busted for drinking her own beer (pretty rock n roll) and was fairly amusing ("the hardest thing about managing a metal band is explaining to the rest of the band that the lead singer is gay").
-
haha aren't they Norwegian or something? That scandinavian black metal was always just a little too much for me.

She would have been an interesting person to chat to, she would have seen some fucked up shit. -

Always time for a bit of Maiden mate!
I reckon "Live After Death" is my favourite live album ever, an excellent band at the peak of their powers -
Late night, when I want to stay fired up, it's time for some Dopes to Infinity.
haha! Yeah, you're right Tim, there's a place for everything alright. I've just never been able to wrap my head around that kind of stuff. Maybe I should stop trying to 'get it' and just ... get it. -

Might have posted this really old clip of Stevie Nicks winding up before, but I guess if I can't remember no-one else will. :)

It's pretty good from 4 minutes when she gets into her witchy persona - from around 5 minutes she really lets go. Awesome - far better than their heavily manufactured albums.

Not sure she's seeing much, though! :)
-
