M4life you said the same thing twice.

Buble-let him without sin be the first for the virgins in paradise, but Buble! Even his name sounds alcohol light.

Let me tell you a story. It's of a young mariner4life, sneaking watches of the first porno he ever saw, a VHS tape of a movie called "11". It was the most 70s porno you ever saw, afros, mood lighting, a story. I watched that it a fair few times when I was a young fulla, and I can pretty much remember the whole thing (story, scenes, you name it). Dunno what happened to that tape, I guess dad eventually got rid of it, but it will always hold a special place in my heart that movie.

Anyway, the other thing that has stuck with me was that it had a soundtrack, and not a bad one. Of all the shit-ton of porn I have watched since then, this is the only one I have ever seen with actual songs in the background.

Cut to today, and mariner4life is being a dutiful husband, looking after the kids and cleaning the house while the wife is at work. I have Foxtel Tunes on the Classic Rock channel. And fuck me if we haven't had two songs from that soundtrack, David Bowie's "Somebody Up There Likes Me" and Traffic's "The Low Spark of Highheeled Boys". Not what I expected on a Saturday arvo, and certainly made me crack a smile (yes, a smile you dirty minded people).

Really hits home the dead art form that is the classy porno movie.

Have a Sonos system (Playbar with Sub) in the family room and recently they updated the app to hook Google Play Music.

So I cranked up the M:I-2 soundtrack and remembered just how fucking good it is.

Shame it was such a shit movie - enjoy The Pimps "Rocket Science"

Found some old CD's in the garage. Loved listening again to Sky - my 2 favorite songs would be Tuba Smarties, and their version of Tocatta:

All music is better with drums and electric guitars added. Ahh, the good old days when the lead guitarist performs on stage in jeans and a sweatshirt :)

Been listening to a bit of Dr Feelgood recently just to appreciate Wilko Johnsons guitar. The real UK proto punk.

For me the definitive song is "Nico on a Bike" by Wellington group from the late 80's The Inhalers
