Could also go in the Hawt thread. Annalise Braakensiek's depression proved too much it seems:
That’s a shame , I saw her interviewed a couple of times and she seemed really cool .
I remember her in the late 90s. Looked like a total bimbo but was actually very smart. I wonder what the issue was here. It can't be easy for women who have made a career out of their looks having to experience those looks fade.
That was pretty much the exact same impression I had of her too . The issues surrounding her death remind me of Charlotte Dawson who was a similar age
They live in the same Potts Point/Wooloomoloo (the nice part) area too.

I loved that show. 'Goodnight my lovely boys!!!'
Couldn't get away with that NHS mouth on the telly or that kind of comment either. Wouldn't want any whiff of paedophilia would we? 🙄. Not to mention the depiction of the Indians in the show. In the dustbin with noddy, big ears and the gollywogs I'd say!

Leg End
If you haven't seen 'Grand Slam' then treat yourself.

Have you seen this? Windsor Davies is in it too
I had a few beers once with the guy who played the coach , he was mad and funny in equal parts.

@jegga that is sad news. He was a real genuine dude and bloody good on the tools.
Yeah , he knew his stuff . Back in the 90s he made a bucket list and being on tv was on it so he kept trying out and missing out on being an extra on Shortland St . That was all he was looking for just to tick it off the list , then that home reno show came along and the rest is history.
Apparently he was understandably never too stoked about people “recognising him off tv “ and calling him Jono ( as in Jono and Ben ).

I used to love reruns of their show growing up, and the music was catchy. One of their hits 'I'm a Believer' was written by Neil Diamond of all people
