    Leigh Hart - not funny
Michael McIntyre - I can see how my parents would find it funny. Me... not so much. He's a young incarnation of Bruce Forsyth. Just... dad-humour.
Ron White - I got about 5 minutes into that video before that audience did my head in.
Katherine Ryan - not as hot as some people seem to think... horse-face. And fully realising/admitting that the first female mentioned is being rated on fuckability rather than humour-talent. On that humour-talent... from what I've seen (solely on UK quiz shows)- reasonable.
Reginald D Hunter - decent enough.
Rhod Gilbert - funny, mind doesn't work the way a human mind should. His shit on Taskmasters... just, WTF?
    Daniel Simonsen - decent.
Sean Lock - has grown on me... just some random shit at times
Lee Mack - not my flavour of humour, but he's fucking quick
David Mitchell - amusing, but can't imagine him doing an entire stand-up
Jimmy Carr - amusing (Edit: yeah: @taniwharugby punchable AF)
    Frankie Boyle - amusing
    Edit:
James Acaster - the more I see of this guy, the funnier he seems... although obviously an engineered "personality"
Ricky Gervais - I quite liked his early stuff, but after he got smug as a fucking smug thing... just a little too.. smug?

@No-Quarter yeah some of McIntyres stuff is brilliant, Humanity was SUPERB, I am not a big fan of Gervais, but that was solid gold!

I also watched one of Jimmy Carrs shows on Netflix, some very funny stuff, but man he has a punchable face and annoying AF laugh.

Bill Burr is brilliant. Pretty much any angry black comedian from the 70s and 80s was hilarious, including Red Fox:

I always found those Live at the Apollo comedians good value.

Pre-meltdown Dave Chappelle was next level.

    I just googled her.

I think I'd rather have an intimate night with Ursula Carlson than Hannah Gadsby....

Im just saying if I had to choose.

I'm making the point I find her EVEN MORE physically repulsive than UC. Which is quite an achievement .

Chappelles show Rick James skit is one of THE funniest things you'll ever see. Helped hugely by The late Rick himself and Eddies late older brother.

They both like chicks so you’re sweet.

Hannah Gadsby is a self aggrandising narcissistic black hole , I must say I’m a bit surprised @booboo and @crucial are such huge fans .
Then again they don’t like Leigh Hart so their taste in comedy was already questionable.

Maybe Leigh Hart needs to up his game and talk about rape and domestic violence? That's of course what every audience wants to hear about when going to see stand up comedy.

    Funniest TV characters ?

For me Al Bundy. Absolutely outstanding.

Homer Simpson is his only equal assuming you can count a cartoon character.

Family Guy and South park whilst good aren't a patch on the Simpson's.

For stand up - Doug Stanhope

The whole stand up format is really tired though, most comics follow the same beat over and over. Particularly with the glut of netflix crap

There's funnier stuff happening on on podcasts. I'm amazed this thread has gone on this long with out @tim mentioning his love for Nick Mullen. I think Shane Gillis will get a similar following in a year or so

Special mention to Sam Hyde. Most people will find him vile. A personification of 4chan humour. The performances he was doing a few years ago, making the audience the target of the humour, were great

She should really piss off and do ted talks , irrespective of her hideous visage she’s not funny . She’s an attention vacuum , I see she’s decided she’s autistic as well for extra oppression olympics points .

    Redirect Notice

The worst part is all the blokes who risked going to see her in the hope of getting laid afterwards probably realise five minutes into her act that after 60 minutes of a man hating tirade and rants about sexual assault the chances of any sub duvet action are virtually nil.

Fuck . How did I forget Stanhope? He’s fucking awesome . The bit about the killer whales is probably my favourite.
I see Jim Jeffries has been caught stealing a couple of his old jokes .

Agree about Netflix, them throwing money at comedians has been a bit hit and miss .
