What are folks thoughts on here? Dose a draw end a winning or losing streak?

Yep - it ends both streaks.

However the team after a draw is also still 'unbeaten' or 'yet to win' depending on the situation.

Ie, the chiefs are yet to win a game this year....

IMO, only if they've actually played.

The declared draw between the Highlanders and Crusaders hasn't ended the Saders' winning streak IMO.

@JK Several media are saying that their winning streak has ended though, which I think is bullshit.

Agree with the rest of your previous post, btw.

It ends a losing streak. Which is less important than ending a winless streak IMO

Take the Blues for example. The last win against an NZ side was 26th Feb 2016. Since then - 20 fuck'n winless matches

But there was a draw midway through that against the Chiefs! So it's only a 9 match losing streak

I don't think anyone really cares that the winless streak has a draw in the middle

Sounds like something newshub or nzherald would do.

    Its far from logical

Agreed. A draw after a run of losses is almost rubbing salt into the wounds.

In the reverse though I would say undefeated and x-wins-on-the-trot are virtually the same regardless of the odd draw in there (see the AB's 43 match undefeated streak at Eden Park - most would not consider that being "broken" by the Lions draw).
