Can you imagine what would happen if it was revealed that it wasn't an accident...how many weeks have the yellow vests been protesting now?..It's a scary thought.

why are all these rich folk pledging money to the rebuild, do they not have Insurance in France?
-
@taniwharugby Catholic church is too broke to afford insurance, I mean you just have to look around the churches in the EU to see there is no money there...
...probably holding all the cash back for the poor. Or paying off child abuse lawsuits.

Maybe..but it was pretty impressive how in the midst of the fire the official call was 'most likely accident' in amongst weeks of street protests and disturbing figures on Christian church attacks in France including their second largest church 'St Sulpice' being set ablaze just a few weeks before.
When media outlets push narratives even to the point of photo-shopping protester signs..well the line between conspiracy and conspiracy theory can get pretty damn blurry.

Have they discovered what started the fire yet?
-
@Salacious-Crumb Current theories are electrical fire or cigarettes.
-
[...] A spokesman for the scaffolding company said Thursday: “Workers might have smoked at the work site outside, and we regret it.’’
The spokesman added, however, that the workers “did not go into the attic on the day of the fire.’’
‘‘A cigarette could not have caused the fire,’’ he insisted. [...]
(Unless then custodian accidentally mopped a floor with petrol and accidentally spilled the bucket on a few support beams and a co-worker accidentally flicked his lit cigarette onto the floor... damn, wrong thread again.)
