James Corden did an AMA, possibly the worst AMA since Woody Harrellson tried to promote Rampart and instead got busted having sex with a girl about a third of his age.
Its brutal, sample question -"have you considered being funny and likable?"

@jegga ouch. Not well liked on there is he.
Have seen the other side of this sort of public perception, and a lot of it is projection.
Once a pile on starts theres not much you can do about I guess. Mind you that opening bit about trying to screw down the wages of the writers that make him look good isn't a great start.
Val Kilmers one is mentioned in there as someone who had a public persona of being difficult but came across really well

Kilmer is a complicated dude, for sure.
Saw him in a play in London and he was unbelievably good.
I remember you mentioning that. Not surprising he's done some great films over the years.
To get so immersed in a role that you get this kind of response is pretty special"According to the IMFDB: "Allegedly, footage of Shiherlis [Val Kilmer] expertly reloading his rifle [Colt Model 733] during the bank robbery shootout has been shown to American Special Forces trainees, with the message from their instructor, »This is how I want you to reload.«".
The clip is from "Heat" (1995 -

Few more years for me before that's a moral issue rather than a legal one.

@jegga i could watch that gun battle over and over again. Heat fucking rules.
Yeah , it’s great and still holds up . I didn’t know Heat was a remake, the original is supposed to be a bit lame .

Actually LA Takedown was a good movie. Mann just didn't have the budget to do it justice so when he got some pull with the studios he went all out with the second version. I agree though it still holds up.

The acting is chalk and cheese.

@antipodean Yeah it is. Bob and Al at the top of their game are always going to win that one. Honestly though, pretty much everyone in Heat turns in a career best performance IMO. Apart from Wes Studi, who was even more awesome in Mohicans.

Q
Did y'all know how hilarious COMMANDO was (in a great way!) while filming it?
A
As soon as I carried a thousand pound log with one arm I knew it was funny. But let me share the scenes you didn’t see that I tried to get in.
I wanted to cut off a guy’s arm and kill him with it. This wasn’t in the script. He would throw a knife at me and after he missed, while his arm was still extended, I chop it off at the shoulder with a machete and beat him to death with it. Needless to say, I was asked by the head of the studio, Larry Gordon to come to his office. And he said “what the fuck is the matter with you? Do you want to make money with this movie or an x-rated movie?”
I said “you’re right” and he said “get the fuck out of my office.” -
Commando fucking rules. The pinnacle of 80s action. And yet it could have been better??!!
