@MN5 meant to say well done! caught the FB update. Noice work good sir
Thanks me old mate. She's exactly half my weight and nice and active although coming back from surgery so taking things easy. We are looking into stuff we can do together, she has a background in body sculpting, yoga etc. Martial Artist too but my superior reach and controlled aggression means I could waste her if I had to
Arguably one of the the most fucked up things I've read on TSF. But also the funniest.

Woke up in my hotel and realised I haven't done much physical for a few days so decided on some flying Superman push ups to speed up the metabolism for the day ( most of which will involve sitting in a car ) I also saw an abandoned looking playground on my drive up here so will pop in for a few chins/dips on the way back provided this fantastic Naki weather holds up.
If Charles Bronson ( prisoner not the actor although he was jacked as fuck too ) can get strong and fit in solitary confinement there's no reason why the rest of us can't.
I am feeling hungry though and lunch isn't til 12 !!!

Na costs me money and I'd have to put a claim through. Not worth it. Remember I'm Scottish.

Had a steak, chips and salad at the pub alongside a stout I managed to sit on for about half an hour. Fucken shitloads of highway patrol men up and down the country and DIC would be quite the CLM. I love Stout in cold, rainy weather.
I also popped in to visit an old mate up the Coast, her partner is an ex circus performer so I had a great time scaling the apparatus ! their kids are already well into it and will be a pair of spider monkeys. Definitely gonna take my boys up for a hoon on the bars, rings and ropes.
Super workout that.

Well gotta confess the DOMS is setting in from yesterdays climbing but I should really go out and do some big curls seeing as every day is arm day. @Paekakboyz @Rancid-Schnitzel @JK it's on the interweb so definitely true. Watch, learn and be inspired.

So looks like I’ve done fuck all lately which thanks to an absolute shitcunt of a flu/cold type thing is partially true. Luckily I went to old man MN5 for a prognosis ( retired doctor ) and I was advised I would be fine so based on that took the lads for a big walk round @Bones old hood then finished up with a massive park workout....all of us. Chins/dips/muscle ups....we did them all. Also persuaded youngest to film the old man doing a few flying Supermans. Sadly no Milfs around to appreciate the athleticism.....
-
Turns out the achy joint shit that you get with the flu isn't that conducive to a good workout. Tried some rope climbs but gave up in frustration. Fully intend to smash a few of them midweek if the weather holds out.
Eats wise I've been slightly slack in terms of takeaways and red wine but at the very least have kept them well within the fasting window which I'm hoping will keep any extra unwanted kgs at bay.
Winter is a fluffybunny of a time, so tempting to sloth and do fuck all.

Feeling 100% again and normal transmission has resumed. Can't find a good rope anywhere near where I now live so have had to go up and down the firemans pole instead #nohomo.
I'm sure I speak for all of us when I say I despise being a little bit crook and being unable to get out and do stuff. Frustrating as fuck. It took me nearly three weeks to completely shake but I didn't help matters by having a few drinks and not taking any time off work. Too busy.
Has anyone ever done indoor rock climbing ? something I want to give a go and might take the boys in the second week of the holidays when they're back from down south. I reckon this will be something we all enjoy heaps and obviously good for the strength and flexibility. Youngest son being of a much more stocky build than his big bro might struggle a bit but I'll be a good encouraging Dad and build him up !

Not done rock climbing, but went to one of those Ninja Warrior places and that was great fun. Any obstacle course type thing is cool.
The best exercise/fun thing I've done with the boys (and which I'll be doing again in September) is aqua park:
Absolutely drills you but is so much fun. Could do that shit every day. Has some mega climbing walls as well.

Looking at taking the boys tomorrow or Saturday depending on timing etc. They have a few playdates lined up, oldest seems to have his eyes on a darker girl. Christ son, don't make the mistakes your Dad did hahaha !
Popped down for a workout at the school, dips, pole climbs, chins, explosive lunges, and the like. Nice and fucked after a short but intense session. Might bite the bullet and have a look at joining the Powerhouse gym down the road from me ( I'm sure @Paekakboyz knows the one ). They have stones, proper ropes and tires to flip. My Scottishness might prevent this though. Sex, haircuts, petrol and parking are things I don't pay for and I'd hate for working out to leave this list.

Usual stuff, nothing much to report. I did take my boys Rock climbing but I wasn't allowed to go cos turns out you need a grown up down the bottom to "do the ropes" so to speak so that was disappointing.
What wasn't was seeing my boys improve each time they went up, knowing you have the safety harness is great for their strength and co-ordination. Absolutely certain oldest boy nailed one particular climb just cos some girl was watching. Youngest got close to the top then freaked out a little bit ( understandable on a 13 metre wall ). He says he'll get there next time.
I've also introduced box jumping much more into my routine, strangely enough after the first session my back hurt most of all ?!?! ( as well as legs, midsection and arse ). Definitely a cool fun workout that will hopefully improve my flexibility as well and speed and explosiveness.

Dare I ask what you need improved flexibility, speed and explosiveness for?

Being a functional/strong Dad and a good example to my sons, busting out impressive power moves to impress my contemporaries, being able to waste my friends/co workers in feats of strength, being one of the first names mentioned when it comes to lifting heavy things, Making impressive tinder videos ( yes these are a thing now )......
Shall I go on ?
Good god man, I'm slightly triggered that you of all ferners even questioned this.
