Argies will no doubt be very disappointed not being able to get out of thier pool!

Quips about playing too many friendlies just dont have the same appeal they used to.

Looks like 1987, 2003 and now 2019 will be th eonly years they have failed ot get out of thier pool.

    @taniwharugby @JK

They stuffed up their prep massively apparently. Stayed in Oz to train after RC (which is an insane amount of time away), couldn't get fields to train on, wasted time playing against Randwick.

Not making excuses, I agree they were the biggest disappointment, but that's some very poor planning!

One team had to miss out from Pool C. Based on the rankings that was always likely to be Argentina.

@Bovidae still doesnt change that they have been hugely disappointing, I'd say the Jaguares being run into the ground probably a factor.

Those same rankings that had Wales and Ireland on top over the last month...😧

I really expected them to beat France, they should be disappointed

Try Argentina disallowed. Matera held back Lamborn, preventing him from tackling the "try scorer". He also seemed to drop the ball.

12 minutes played and still no score.

Now a try to Tuculet. Costly mistake from the USA defender (Te'o).

    14 - 0 Arg after 25 minutes

After a slow start, the Pumas are on a roll! Tuculet scores his second.

    19 - 0 Argentina after 35 minutes.

Haha, I jinxed the Argies. Try to USA captain Scully from a grubber from MacGinty. The 2nd USA try of the tournament.

15 minutes into the 2nd half and it's already 33 - 5 to the Pumas.

Before the tournament, I thought the USA had improved quite a bit, but now I'm not so sure. Sunday's game against Tonga may provide the final answe. Based on what I've seen thus far, I expect Tonga beat them easily.

McGinty sucks. Fucking hell he sucks.

But the biggest issue is their lack of reaction to unexpected circumstances. Something doesn't happen the way they expect, they don't recover how someone growing up with the game would.

Didn't help that Williams utterly fucked them in the scrum first half by not penalising the Argie THP for being pissweak.

And that high tackle in minute 53 should have been yellow. The maul in the 54th minute should also have been penalised for 3 Arg players being in the side.

The USA lineout going to shit.

How much did Argentina miss Sanchez against England?
